Don't look at me, i fly off the handle over everything. I like to blame my bipolar but i cant' see how everything could be a trigger. I think i just have a lot of rage inside. Even my parents think i'm angry from the time i wake up to bed.

Me too! Can't do it in this state, but when I was on the range at home in PA... Deep breath, get in the zone, and pull. It's like meditation. You have to be settled to get the best shots (though repeating shots in a calm state is helpful to gaining the ability to do so in an emergency).

Obviously not suitable when you're at home with little ones, though!!!

    Mine are 6,2 and 8mnths
so non stop talking, whining and loads of crying, plus the tantrums meltdowns and constant can I, I want, its mine, NOOOOOOO
    PHEW. I feel you.
In our house mommy has her own time outs. I rest my forehead against a cool surface and count to 10.
I randomly start laughing hysterically to divert attention. I tell a joke, or ( and warn you TMI ) I let one rip, I have three boys and a loud one always cracks them up. Sometime jumping, jack contests and the whisper game (where whoever is quietest wins)
and when all else fails, a glass of wine and a cartoon goes on for 15 mins.
stay strong eventually they, walk, eat, poop and play all on their own, one glorious day.
    Good Luck

I cry lol, not because I'm sad but because honestly it's against the law to smack someone in the face for being an *kitten*. Or if it's something like my kids acting up I count to 10 or 100 depending on how bad they are being.

Women are emotional creatures. That's why we will always hold the transitions of power.

Just curious.... Is English your first language?

Just keep swimming, just keep swimming, just keep swimming, swimming, swimming.

I have come to realize I can control other people just as much as they can control me. The only thing you can control is your reaction to their ignorance, anger, rudeness, etc.

When someone is being a jerk, I put on the biggest smile and am the friendliest person in the world. They either realize they are being out of line, or they get frustrated I'm not giving them the reaction they want and give up.

If I do get upset I generally go for some fresh air, rant to my best friend or breath deeply. This usually only happens though when it comes to my mother... Why can mothers get under their daughters skin so efficiently?!

    Depends on what it is.

If I'm just slightly pissed off? I distract myself with something else (drinking, video games, tv, music)
If I'm moderately pissed off? I clean. A lot. I color coordinated my closet once.
If I'm super pissed off and you should probably run and hide? I run or do something physically exhausting. I'd love to get in a fight, but... that's maybe not the best option. Maybe.

I agree! If I lost my cool I'd have a happy song in my head or listen to happy music that makes me put aside the bad things.

To be serious though, while I don't get angry often, when I do, I quickly become furious. If you're in a situation where you can distance yourself from whatever is causing your anger, I've found that to be a good solution. If not, slowly counting back from 50 can diffuse things, if not at least delay them. Other solutions you could try include running, writing it out, listening to music, playing a violent video game, venting to a friend, and making sure to get in your healthy daily dose of homicidal fantasizing.
