    I don't know about freaky, and I am not done losing weight yet, but I noticed a change in my face when I posted a photo to FB this morning. So I went back and looked at photos taken at the beginning of the year.

    The first one was taken on New Years Eve (2013) when I weighed 175lbs. I was with my husband at a party.

    The second was taken with my granddaughter on June 14th to celebrate her 6th birthday. I weigh 159lbs here - another 29lbs to go:

    Roux-en-Y Gastric Bypass in January 2013; it was (for me) the best decision I've ever made! I believe - with all of my heart - that the surgery will extend my life expectancy for a significant number of years! At this point, I have five more pounds to GO/GOAL! I don't know that the change in my (ol' grandma) face is "freaky" . . but it is what it is and I'm okay with that! Highest weight: 288 / Goal: 130.

    Okay . . photo not working . . and I can't seem to delete the post! Advice from old-timers???

    While I have not participated on the message boards here before, I have been lurking since I joined MFP. Considering I could not have hit my goal without the help of this site and community, figured now would be the time to start. My before and after weight loss on my face. My wife says she misses my chubby cheeks. I don't!

    Mine's my profile picture - the left was the day before I moved overseas in September and the right was about two weeks ago now! I hadn't thought I looked any different until I had flipped through some photos on my phone really quickly one day and freaked out... but I'll definitely take the change! :)
