Any theories as to what happened to Flight 370 and where it might be? Any theories as to why it may have been jacked, if that's what happened?

    I reckon it landed on a dirt runway somewhere and quickly got put in a hangar. But who knows.

    I just don't understand how, with all our technology, a plane can just go missing?! Maybe it was aliens.

    i don't know but I'm kind of over the 'terrorist' mongering. Fake passports do not always equal terrorists. Many people in that part of the world try to get them just to leave their country It's not a surprise a few of the passengers had them.. A life-long pen pal of my cousin was never able to leave Africa to visit my family because he didn't have enough assets to get a real passport.

    I do find it a great coincidence that 20 people on board work for a technology company contracted by the DoD. The cloaking technology theory makes more sense to me than the plane being in the ocean with NO floating debris...

    I am quite baffled by the whole thing. How can something THAT freaking large and full of advanced technology disappear without anyone knowing where it is??? I've read that the pilot turned certain things off but there should still be some sensor or something that radars and/or satellites could pick up!! Not to mention all the people on board....how many probably had their phones on? meaning they could possibly be traced! If it crashed, there would be debris visible from somewhere....I don't know what to think! I feel terrible for all those family members :cry:

    I think the *kitten* performed a gentle water landing in which the plane would not break up and leave clues rather slowly sink onto the ocean floor. This having happened, the chances of finding them are zero to none.

    That's what I was thinking too....the plane and all those poor people are probably laying at the bottom of the very deep ocean. Any other type of crash would leave debris that would be seen by air, sea or land.
    I also saw that they are "looking very closely' at the pilot and copilot now.....

    Sounds like they might have found it off the coast of Australia... more to come in the next couple of days.

    Not true. Something that large and recent will still be quite visible. We have subs that can go to extreme depths now, even into the Marianas trench.

    This is such an unspeakably horrible story.
