As mentioned in the OP. : women on this site seem to STRIVE for the gap then followed by a why?
Just seeking some clarification to an idea that was foreign to me.

I do believe that the pursuit of the thigh gap via unhelathy eating habits(which is usually the case) is disturbing. If someone is geneticaly pre-disposed to have a gap, then deductive reasoning would infer that the initial post was not in any way directed to you or anyone in specific. However if you did find the initial post offensive,hurtful, or having had cause you discomfort, I do apologize.

No where in that post does it say anything about the pursuit of thigh gaps being repulsive. Sure, you question why women on here seem to strive for one, but only because in your opinion it looks extremely unattractive and unnatural.

While your intent may have been to dissuade the unhealthy pursuit of thigh gaps, it was clumsy at best, and make no mistake, your result was in fact body shaming. And now you wonder why everyone doesn't pat you on the back because you "clarified what you meant"?

When I was 16 I tried to park my parents car in the garage. I backed up the driveway way too fast, hit the garage and did $6500 damage to the car and garage. Do you think I got a pat on the back that day?

That he did, only to delete it when I tore him a new one for it. While I don't think he was necessarily advocating corrective rape, it was clear that he doesn't believe that lesbianism is a valid sexual orientation which, if you ask me, is lame enough on its own.
