And men dont bare children nor do they have the monthly curse! Totally different hormones.....oh should we mention pre-menopause and menopause....and notice the first three letters in that word? Hmmmmm?:explode:

I'm experiencing pre-menopause right NOW, and I'm 21 years old.
    Hot flashes are a b*tch.

I'm not saying it's easy to be a woman (by definition, I'll never really know). I KNOW that women still get the short end of the stick in many ways. I KNOW that women still get paid less (on average) than their male counterparts for the same job. I also KNOW that women bear children, suffer menstrual cycles and menopause. I also KNOW that women typically have a harder time losing weight. I do have a degree in biology, after all.

What I was trying to say, perhaps inarticulately, is that it isn't necessarily easier to be a man. Men have an entirely different set of burdens but that doesn't mean we have it easier.

I don't like sexist jokes of any type because I don't think they're funny. I find such jokes offensive and it doesn't matter if the butt of the joke is male or female.

Here is a sample of the "man bashing" comments to which I was referring. If any male made similar comments directed at women, they would be run out of here with a quickness.

    "But, you know men!"
"MEN how do they always get it easy...."
"I know those days suck...lucky men:)"
    "MEN SUCK!!"
"Man jokes" -this whole post is offensive.

good news story. yes, it sucks that it takes a little longer to see results, but they also said women benefit from longer, less intense exercise - so a nice long brisk walk to the grocery store sounds good to me!!!
