Just finish lunch, ate salad with tomatoe and alvacado. Had a sanwhich without the bread so not bad. Planing to go to the gym after work.
So do you have to go back to tickerfactory to add the miles each time? anyone?0 -
hi all..home from hospital w/dh. he had a polyp removed and some others as well, we will get results in 2 weeks. tired today...woke at 5 and could not go back to sleep.
Jacque, yes, go back to tickerfactory, I think you have to put in a password to "update" your ticker. there is an empty box by your miles...just put in the number you did, and hit "add". you will have to copy and past the new bbcode to get the updated info. hope that helps...
I just need to get me *kitten* in gear walking again....
bus trip tomorrow and then football trip Friday. hoping we can go on a road trip this weekend to see some fall foliage.0 -
Kelly I hear ya. Today even in rain I just went if I keep waiting around for the weather I'll never get a walk in. I am going to check out treadmills for winter walks. I am fighting the sweet urge today. If I give everytime I have one I will be 400 pounds. So fighting maybe I will limit to once a week or every other. hmmmmm It is worth a try.
This is really making me work for it this year. Hope it gets easier. :grumble:

Perhaps I need some ticker help..... I recall my password but didn't see where to re-enter it... Sigh....
Since I ate 5 Hershey kisses and 1 apple, my dinner is going to be appx 300 cal.
And since I'm grocery shopping - probably no Curves - since raining no lunch walk. I may walk in rain once home depending on how late I get home.
This could be a day I'm slightly over calories. It's ok... It's ok.... one day, slightly over isn't bad... it's ok.

YeaH BABY going to bed and stayed under my goal a first in a very long long time0 -
Jacque that is awesome. Go for the same thing for at least 1 more day prior to weigh in.0

Good Morning Pepper's,
Well did not do so good last night went over in calories, but what is done is done. New day.
That is great Jacque keep up the fantastic work and throw some control this way
If I would just stop at my dinner I would be fine. One of my friends made me a banana bread for my Bday and cant help but eat it. She feels she needs to give me something but she is very tight on cash. I dont want to hurt her feelings but I dont want the food either. :grumble:
Well hope I get a walk later this afternoon, if it does not stop raining I will get off but and walk from square. That is 20 or 30 mins from home. Do what I can.

Starting off soooo slow this morning. Did not want to get out of bed at all. Its only 11:00 and I am so ready to go home...it;s gonna be a long day that for sure.
Kelly-Hope hubby is doing better
Cindy-Next time someone brings you food, Tell them thanks and save it for home. Once your home, Toss it and the next day make a ppoint to say thanks again. Or if you feel quilty tossing it give it to the kid, hubby, dog etc.....
Have jury duty tomorrow which is gonna suck, I rather have the day off0 -
Hey all.....
Decided I will treat myself --took the WHOLE day off after my dental app. And I got a Wawa Fruit & Cheese package. It's 490 calories, however, I didn't feel guilty eating the raisin cinnamon bread. I wanted a quick easy lunch... didn't feel like making something once I got home from dental & errands.
I agree w/Jacque -- accept food gifts w/grace then chuck them out later.. OR here's a novel idea -- REGIFT it! Give to your neighbor. Just take off any tags that reference who the gift is for or from.
It's tough cuz I get food gifts on occasion as well. And yes, there were times I inhaled the whole whatever. Sometimes before I left the office.
Jacque -- jury duty... we'll that could be interesting... depending on the case.
Back to doing Scout paperwork.... being a Scout leader for Girl Scouts & Cub Scouts -- the paperwork multiples in my sleep.

bad..very bad day here....on the verge of a crying spell...just so much on my mind today, and it all hit me at once, and can't seem to focus on anything positive...upset with work, beading, money, dh, and so many unfinished tasks here....inside the house and out....so overwhelmed...things are just a swirling...
good seeing all the progress with you ladies...0 -
Kelly love breath, very deep and tackle one thing at a time. Breath! Give it to God. Now take the easiest thing you can accoplish and do it, Don;t worry about the things you cant change just focus on the little stuf and breath. Praying for you luv0

Good Morning Pepper's,
Kelly breath like Jacque said. Write down all the things you need to do, then number them according to priority and tackle one at a time. Sometimes writing things down help me get back to being focused. You can do this :flowerforyou:
Jacque read your blog. You go girl. Dont let anyone make you feel like that. Sometimes I get looks when I walking (mostly women who are bigger than me), I did what you did give them the biggest smile and keep walking. Now these same women smile back at me. (ha made a few freinds). You have to keep in mind this is for you, who cares what other people say, I dont care what they think. I have wonderful family and freinds that support me that is all I need.
Thanks for the food gift advise, I can bring to work and put in kitchen, my clients eat everything.
Well it is a nice sunny day, will get my walk in. Check back later. :bigsmile:0 -
Ladies
It seems we're all struggling with something right now.... things that are affecting us.
One breath at a time, one step at a time.
As the saying goes "Rome wasn't built in a day" thus changes we wish to make aren't going to occur overnight either.
I journal -- somedays I'm more dedicated to writing daily than others. Bare minimum the entries I do make include 5 things I'm thankful for on that day. Could be something simple as blue skies. I also include 5 (sometimes more) items to lift up to God. Could be specific people by name or a wide span group of people (like children fighting terminal illness) and recently I've been adding courage, strength and patience for me.
That could be something we all need - courage, strength & patience.

Well went over calories by 18 last night, not to bad. Also Dide weight training with my new workout buddy. Put down 35 min. but was there over an hour. was unable to track actual time due to taking time to show her all the exercises. So I figure I am ok.
Jury duty was ok it took them over 2 hours before they sent me home, never got picked.
I weight in today and doing ok so just nee to be good until tomorrow official weight in. Headed to lunch with Mom taking advantage of a day off. Will pln to eat smart0 -
Work got a little hectic (OK, these work related injury cases are stressing me out!) Too many cases hitting at once.
Strayed a bit... did 3 dunkin doughnut munchkins and apprx 12 plain M&Ms.
Must run or walk or something. No curves since Girl Scout Leader meeting night.
If I do nothing, I'll still be under by 50+ calories. If I do something, I may be able to eat a bit more at dinner.
b0 -
Well got my walk in only 270 miles to Barb.
I thought because I got no exercise I went over until I put dinner in. Looks like I did good. I was 46 under :drinker: I dont get stressed anymore, I know what I have to do to loose (not cheat) I have done it before so I know I can do it. I am working hard this week and if I cant exercise I know I cant over eat. That is it. I have a little over 500 for dinner so that is good, just have cucumber left from lunch, then lots of water until dinner.
Well I will check back later.0 -
I will avoid more MMs. I will avoid the cheese bread in the office.0
