I always keep a steady stock of salad fixings...big variety of greens, peppers, cucumbers, tomatoes, carrots, avocado....that way it's quick and easy to make a big salad that will fill me up and I won't be as likely to make bad food choices. Also cheese. I love cheese. I've never tried PB2 but it sounds gross. I like real peanut butter. I like real food in general...butter, eggs, cheese, nuts, fruit, vegetables, whole grains, meat, chicken, seafood. Substitutions are fake and don't taste good.

Cheese. And alcohol. I must budget those in or I would be a sad panda.

    Seconded.

Also, chocolate. But I stick to the healthier, dark chocolate. I also like the way it tastes much more than milk chocolate or white chocolate.

Also, COFFEE. But I usually have it black (and like it that way!)

I have one from every food group... Lol!

    1. Brown Rice
    2. Bananas, Strawberries
    3. Sweet potatoes, Spinach
    4. Chicken
    5. Sharp Cheddar Cheese
    6. Coca-Cola

Coke is a BIG one for me... I would rather go a week without cookies / candy / ice cream than a day without Coke.

Meals are cheeseburgers (lean beef, turkey or bison) & chicken tikka masala w/ naan. Mmm...

Steady Eddie sprouted bread is a new fav.
    Eggs, egg whites.
    Variety fresh and frozen veggies.
Bananas (I get a few...the rest are for the rest of the house, lol!)
    Black grapes
Wholly Guacamole cups (love to take to work for snacks, also to put on sandwiches)
    Canned beans
    Plain and vanilla Greek yogurt
Big box of spring mix from Walmart...can't wait til the snow goes away and I can grow my own lettuce again...but right now the snow is flying horizontally past my window. Sigh.
    Quinoa
Laughing cow...Swiss, garlic & herb, and drumroll...cinnamon "cream Cheese"...which makes a tasty treat on aforementioned bread...

I've found to keep myself from burning out, I have to work in a treat every day. But instead of a pint of icecream, I'll have a single serving with some frozen fruit on top. Makes it seem like a much bigger helping.

As far as being able to keep on track the rest of the day. If I don't have salad fixings and cooked meat/eggs ready to go my lunch is crappy.

And my scale. I would be lost without it. ETA food scale that is

Idk if I'd call them MUST haves, since I've pretty much cut them out, but Bread, Cheese, and alcohol.

Pizza is the one thing I will not live without though, English muffin pizzas are a live saver lol, 4 for 500 cals.

I like to eat sugar free jello with strawberries/cantaloupe/raspberries (basically whatever fruit) and with fat free cool whip on top. I am also a chocolate addict :p So I eat some sort of chocolate every day.
