Good morning! Looks like it was a slow night out here last night.

I went running yesterday to pick up the kids and ran a good 8 feet further than I did Monday! That's the furthest I've ever run!! I'm running again today also.

Got about 70 oz of fluids yesterday with about 50 of those being Crystal Light. It wasn't my goal of 80 oz, but it's so much more than I have been getting!

    amy--great job on both counts!!

Nicole ~ YOu like running with your kids? I can't stand it! LOL I hate pushing 90lbs of extra weight in the stroller. Good job on getting some painting done! What kind of maintenance are we talking about?

Stacy ~ Good luck with your son! I am PTg Carter right now, and he's only 2...does great with pee, not with poop. But since he's so young, I don't know what to do! The only reason I started is because he has been wanting to go on the potty for 3 months...and I thought I better stop being lazy so I don't miss the opportunity to get it done

Did Turbo Fire HIIT 15 workout today...that was so much fun! Seriously high energy and short, loved it :) Got a 4 mile run to get done this afternoon :) Also up a pound this morning, surprise, surprise! I'm so sick of gaining and losing the same pounds LOL Off to shower, I'm stinky!

that HIIT may help you bust thru your plateau. good luck! also, how tall are you? is it perhaps that you're "stuck" cuz you're where you're supposed to be?
i know i'm not stuck here b/c i've been lower. plus i'm only 5' 4 1/2" tall with a small frame. so for me, all this extra wt is a lot on my frame.
i'm not saying to toss your goals, and nicole may very well be rt abt dropping after your marathon---but there may be a reason you're staying around 140.
    just a thought :flowerforyou:

I have been doing horrible on exercise/tracking/drinking enough but have still done good on portion control and staying away from the sweets. I have not been able to log like I would like to because I am back to using the hubby's laptop the family comp monitor went out and we have not been able to replace it yet. I hope to be able to soon so that I don't have to fight the hubby over the comp. :grumble:

Way to go on all the success ladies!

    Welcome jaspersmommy!

Sarah- HEY!!!! Glad to see you popped in! How are things going with work etc.?

    Thanks :D

Work is crazy, busy but not busy at the same time. Have lots to do right now, but once it's done, there's nothing much more until March. Am probably going to have to do some administration stuff and some web development stuff on the sites just to fill in some hours, which I find tedious to say the least but... my only other option (its been suggested) is cutting my hours down which well I might as well NOT work if I do any less than 35 a week :/
So yeah I'm feeling slightly disgruntled about it right now as we took on another staff member full time, now I'm being suggested to cut my hours back? WTF? And I'm thinking like why did you not just take her on part-time? Yes we needed an extra person in some capacity, especially cos I'm off work for a month or more over Christmas (I save up almost all my paid leave of 5 weeks and take it all over Christmas/summer), but I'm kinda POd abut it working out like this. I will have to discuss it with my manager at some stage next week before he goes back overseas.

Sorry didn't mean that to turn into a huge rant that it did

sassy--it's ok. we can handle the rant. did the person they hire cost less than you?? sometimes that's why they bring someone new in. :(

    i see from your ticker you're almost 1/2 there--AWESOME!

welcome jaspermommy. great group of ppl here!

yesterday i had such a stomachache so hardly ate. today it's better but i still kept it small. it's probably just stress and my tummy always takes the hit.
hopefully, i'll be able to exercise tomorrow too as i think that helps on both fronts. i'm also taking the 3 kids to a pumpkin festival by myself. wish me luck!

have a great weekend all! set some mini goals and ACCOMPLISH them! have some prouds to share on monday. :)

Yeah she does but she's also half useless and unable to work without me supervising, doesn't have keys or alarm codes or anything, so it would be a case of BOTH of us cutting back.
I think it was more a overestimation of the amount, length of time, of work that was sitting there.

I won't be cutting back. I'm hedging my bets on being too valuable to risk losing, and I've pretty much implied that there's no point in me staying on on less hours.

Yes! sooooo close to halfway (150grams!, like 1/3lb) that I consider myself halfway now.
    70kg is my first goal.
I'm aiming for 65 overall I think, but we'll see when the time comes how I feel. I imagine the 70-75 will be tough going, even though it's technically still an overweight BMI range for me, it puts me in an approx size 11 (7 US)

    Thanks, loves!

We (The Mr. and I) just took little man for a walk with us. He was so good, just kicking away in his stroller.
We went to the farmers market today. :)
  • Hi all! Just checking it here. So many new faces--welcome I love this group of ladies. I am still around logging food & doing small exercise stuff. I basically maintaining which is good but I would so much like to loose those pounds.

Lots of changes over the last 3 months so goals for the weight loss haven't really worked out. This week I have 2 goals

Drink my water--so bad on this one lately.
Ride my bike 3x for 30 minutes. We got a new bike that I can use & it doesn't hurt the hip--yeah!

Hope that everyone has a great weekend.

kim, great to hear from you! and that's awesome about the bike!
sarah, glad you made it clear that you're valuable. :) and a size 7 us??? wow--that is plenty small to me--how tall are you?? isn't it silly how there are all these diff sizes for women? and one brand to the next dsn't fit the seem. it's a conspiracy, i tell ya

didn't get in the exercise yesterday but was out of the house all afternoon. we were at the pumpkin fest and scored 2 free pumpkins + beautiful ribbon arrangements (that were on the trees) and hung out w/ppl from our synagogue. they were there enjoying a shabbat afternoon in the park. it really was lovely.

dh is home! and dd1 is at sunday school till 1:30 today--youth group activity. yay. so we have time just the 4 of us. what to do? what to do?

hope everyone has a GREAT day! i will have a proud for tomorrow!!

    I'm 163cm - or 5'4"

I must carry a LOT of muscle I think...

I wouldn't want to go any smaller than that, so if I do get to that size before I reach 65kg then I'll stop. At 76kg I'm a 13 (9US), which is why I'm thinking, 70kg will be where I may stop anyway!
