    No. Might meet depending on the situation. Some of my friends are local and do running events so there's a good possibility I'll end up in the same place as some of them.

    I've met about two dozen people from my friends list. A small handful of them have become in real life best friends and one became my significant other.

    I'll be meeting a couple more at the Indiana Spartan later this month and 3 or four more in Cleveland over the summer.

    yes I Have , but not for any nefarious reason -

    met one who is a fellow mom of twins, and we had a lot in common , just hung out a couple times, but we talk regular still, though she is not active on here anymore..

    and 2 others who are great people and were fun to meet but we did not remain in contact.

    I have a few friends that I've known for years on here. In a few weeks I will be meeting someone that I met on MFP. Yay!
