Day 4 complete! It's getting easier and I sure can feel it!! I'm thinking I am already seeing results?? Amazing...

I am just doing this every day with sporadic bike rides and walks. I want to do 30 consecutive days. My husband and I are heading to Hawaii with my sis and her hubby at the end of the month, I'm planning on bringing my dvd with me even there so that I can finish it up!!

That is awesome!!! Keep it up!!

just done day 2 on workout 1. the tops of my legs are really feeling it!!
how long do you do 1 b4 you move to 2?

    Hi!
I know some people do 10 days on each level, but others like to mix it up, so your muscles are always doing something different.
I would just do what works for you, and when you feel ready move on :)

I ordered mine from Ebay today. I'm excited to get started. I don't have any other exercise routine so I'll probably be really sore. I'll try to pull through though. How many calories can you burn from it?
I log it as "Circuit training, general" & it says I burn 319 calories - I think that number varies though depending on your weight? Because a friend of mine burns less calories than I do for the same things and she is just maintaining her weight.

I wear my HRM while I am doing it and I am on level 2 and I burn roughly 267 +/- calories . I am 5'4" and my current weight is 158 lbs. Oh, and I am 41. I had to plug my weight and age into the HRM. :)

Yes, it must vary, because when I did the Shred and logged it as circuit training, it said I was burning 153 calories - I'm 124 pounds, not really in it to lose, but to tone.

I just Netflix'd it and should have it today or tomorrow! I'd love to join!

Should we make this a challenge?! We could check in every day (we do the shred) to make sure we did that day and how we're feeling?

    YAY! I'm excited!

I don't see anything wrong with posting daily! I finished Level 1, day 6 last night... I'm thinking of getting some 5lb weights this weekend. My arms don't get sore with my 3lb-ers. :)

Day 9 complete - I did level 2 tonight for the first time. Oh my good GOD - the plank ones killed me. I'm dying.

I think I love level 2 best but at the same time I'm not doing the plank stuff right. Anyone else have issues with the plank exercises?

    Level 1, Day 1 finished!

I only have 5 LB weights so my arms were killing! I feel like it's going to yield some great results though!

I just did level 1 day 2, Im not doing it the way they say though, I do one day then rest the next to let the muscle heal (I woke up the next morning after doing day one and couldnt lift my arms ) also Im really out of shape so I dont use weights at all yet, once I get strong enough I'll add them in looks as though Ill be on level one for a while but thats alright with me : )

When I first started I used soup cans as my weights! Not much weight but I sure felt it, I'm now using 2lb weights and am ready to move up to 3lb.

    Good job finishing!

I have done 10 days on the shred and absolutely attribute it to my weight loss and more importantly my loss of inches!! I have lost 4" off my tummy, 3" off my waist, 2.5" off my hips, 3.5" off my upper thigh & 1" off of my knee.

Some of this came off before I started doing the shred but at least half has happened in the past 10 days!! It's totally, totally worth it.

I missed last night which makes me a bit disappointed in myself but will be doing level 1 this morning and then level 2 again tonight!!

To Messyhare: that is awesome. How did you account for the calories you burned on your daily exercise log?????

To messyhare, Wow! That is awsome. Well done and keep it up! That gives me some motivation to continue with the shred. Although I havent seen any weight loss yet. I am in day 5 now.

I log it as circuit training general, 20 mins. There was another post that suggested logging level 2 & 3 as something different but I think I will just continue to log it as I have been.

Completed day 7, did Level 2 last night. however, I had to take 5 sec break between some exercises. It is really a killer. Think I will go back to level 1 for a few more days.
