I got a velocity spin bike for about 300$. It does the job. If spin/biking is something you enjoy then go for it. Try to go to a store and try one out before buying one though. They aren't anywhere near the quality of the kind you use at the gym, but you can get some decent ones for the price in the 500$ range.0

OP I see this isn't where you're looking, but all the gyms I've ever signed with have babysitting. Is this an option, perhaps one to consider down the line? Our classes especially are mostly women. I love it when the young baby sitter peers through the door with a baby on her hip and a scowl on her face when our class runs past the babysitting time :laugh:0
