Wine, shots, or diet mixers are going to be your best alcohol/calorie ratio.

Wine? Really? I always thought wine was pretty high in calories. I'm blaming my weight on wine a lot. I have gained close to 30 lbs since I started drinking a year and a half ago

Vodka + club soda or diet sprite here.

But man almighty.... I miss IPAs.

THIS! However, I try to pick an IPA around 180-200 calories and have less alcohol... because I can't give them up completely!

Adjusted for equal units of alcohol:
    100ml (double shot) Stoli vodka + 400ml Soda water + lime = 216 cal
500ml (two large glasses) 12.5% white wine = 396 cal
500ml (two large glasses) 12.5% red wine = 408 cal
    1.2l (2.5 pints) 5% beer = 517 cal

    Vodka
    get drunk, not fat

I love red wine and can always fit it in my day if I try. All calories are for 5 oz servings.

    Gascon Malbec: 122 cals
    Bota Box Merlot: 125 cals
    Yellowtail Merlot: 120 cals

Most red wines clock in at 115-130 calories. =) White wines can be more, especially ones with high residual sugar.

Miller 64 is surprisingly tasty. Otherwise its Captain and Diet Coke or vodka and diet tonic water with a lemon wedge. Have fun and be safe :)

My vote is for vodka and tonic. Of course, drink what you want, as long as you throw in some exercise to compensate.

These are all over 100 calories.
Michelob Ultra is lower carb. Miller 64 is ok. I've never had the Bud ultra light version. They are now making some lower calories vodkas. Never tried them, but I have seen them in stores.

I'd go with whiskey, vodka, rum, or gin.

These really have the lowest calories and highest alcohol percentage.

Not that alcohol is healthy at all, but if you must these should probably be your go-tos.

Avoid syrupy drinks, especially things like cosmopolitans. Coffee/Creamy liquor are also chock-full of calories and carbs, so avoid those.

It is, but most of the calories are from alcohol. Wine seems to be about 85% calories from alcohol. Distilled liquors, such as vodka, rum, etc. are basically 100% calories from alcohol. Some light beers do well too on the alcohol/calorie ratio, but

Try a Manhattan. Delicious and fairly low on calories and it will take a while to sip through the whole thing.
