Great job Nolachick.
I am thinking that I should up my exercise some point soon but first I need to get my hectic school schedule under control. I am hoping that my one friend will teach me how to snowboard this winter. I hate winter so I pretty much become a hermit and then I end up gaining the weight that I normally lose over the summer (endless battle). So I am trying to find new things to do during the winter.0 -
Thanks ladies. I am feeling a lot more confident just by knowing I'm getting my workouts in and I'm watching what I eat. I dont eat perfect but atleast I try to practice portion control and stay away from the obviously bad stuff.
Porterbaby: I will never come close to all the workouts you do in a single day. Idk how u do it. Yesterday I worked out twice (am and pm) and i wasn't able to give it my all the 2nd time around.
Maneyes: winter is tuff but what helps me through is knowing that I don't wanna gain back any weight and start all over. Even if you maintain over the winter u can pick up where you left off instead of starting all over again. use that as a motivation to do something. Get a bunch of workout dvd's and do them at home if u dont wanna go out in the cold. That really helped me last year.0 -
i just have to do quiet abit, i just made a pack to stick to it. like today i did phase 1 2nd week of p90x shoulders&arms -ab ripper x. then this evening i'll do brazil butt lift- hight&tight and sculpt. nola, i have to workout twice a day and as much, because i have to work off my lunch and dinner other wise i'd gained the next day. i'm so tired of being in the 160's. i've been in the 160's almost this whole year it's about time i up my workouts until i can way passed out of the 160's. i'm tired of those blah days or not wanting to workout, or i just want to eat and eat. so i made a pack to myself that i'm going to work hard on my body so i won't have those blah, terrible days. what your doing is awesome nola what you to make your body happy and healthy just do what you can do and be proud of your accomplishments and eventually you'll reach the most wonderful reward of all a sexy, hot, healthy , happy body.0

I'm in! Need to reach 120 and I'm afraid that December will come and catch me with these 10 additional pounds. Need to be bikini ready for New Year's. What do we do in this post? Just joined and downloaded app in iPhone. Started today... Motivated! Regular excersice and healty eating!0

Nolachick: the only thing with home workout videos is the fact that I can't seem to keep motivated to do them. I find that they seem to get too repetitive over time. I found the same thing was true with my wii fit. I'm hoping that I can learn a winter sport that really motivates me and I'll continue to do it over time. I have a friend that may teach me how to snowboard this winter but honestly, I don't know how well that is going to go.0

we don't do anything specific like weigh ins and such but ideas are welcome. I like doing challenges (group or personal) for me it will be working out 5x/ a week.

i think i would like in on this group! My ultimate goal is to fit into a bikini. Although i'm not sure i can lose 75 pounds in a year. But I think it would be a great goal to reach towards!
Boredom is something i go through also with my workouts. I think the best thing is just to have variety. Sure finding a winter sport will help i'm sure but i am sure even that will get boring after awhile I know i have change up things every couple of months or the challenge is gone.

and for those of you who get bored easily,l that's completely normal. u are supposed to change ur workouts every 6 - 8 weeks for best results. I enrolled in boot camp currently until thnx giving then I will find something else to start. maybe C25K.
We'll see.

This past week was a trial run (sort of) of a regular, consistent workout program. I have a plan now, and I'm excited to start on Monday!

today was p90x- chest-back, and the ab ripperx. today was rest day for the brazil butt lift, so i did hip hop abs- ab sculpt, about 15 min. of zumba- 20 min express.

So, since I won a trip to Punta Cana, my exercise is going to have to be upped. I'm debating whether or not to start up some Insanity even though I haven't done anything that intense ever. I need to keep my exercise up especially after ultimate finishes at the end of next week.
Do you guys have any ideas as to how I can keep myself motivated enough to complete these workouts?0 -
maneyes: what i did i made calendars for a whole year, but i made it for three months. i'm in p90x and brazil butt lift programs, i write them in order like i'm suppose to, for 90 days. so what i'm saying is make a calendar for 90 days of what workouts you do or what kind of workouts you want to do. each day look at your calendar for that day and do what it says for that day. like i have some rest days for the brazil butt lift , but not for p90x, i just do something simple, and still do my p90x. plus is there something special coming up that you are looking forward to and try to set a goal for that. like for me jan 2nd is my forthy birthday and i like to be in the 140's. i hope this has helped.0

on the workouts, its hard to keep urself motivated, I won't lie. the trick for me is like what porterbaby said: schedule your workouts and stick to them! create a weekly or monthly schedule and stick to the plan. Monthly is kind of overwhelming for me so thats why I post my weekly workouts up here. hope that helps!
whats been motivating me is sweating and pouring after a good workout - thats how I know I've done a great job.

hi everyone, today bites, i was hoping for a big lose, but no not me. hereb i worked my butt off doing p90x and brazil butt lift. i don't lose anything and in fact i gained, back up to 166.8lbs. i just feel like giving up, i couldn't believe it. i just wanted to throw that scale. i just was hoping to be in the 140's and my body fat and flubber has melt away more. i just don't understand, i try to watch what i eat, i definitely drink my water.:mad: :explode: :sad:0

i'm clear back up because getting ready for TOM and the health department nurse has me on the hormone pill, because TOM is coming around to often. now it's got even more bloated. i'm so frustrated. i'm working out really hard too. i just don't understand, i was almost in the 150's now i'm back up to 166.6lbs. i try real hard to watch what i eat, but i was so upset today, that i had a warm danish with hot chocolate. but i'm going to work it off.0

wow this thread died off a while back, sorry ladies :flowerforyou: but i'm back trying to get into a bikini now.
i already bought a new bikini for inspiration. its a cute lil red poka dot one from victoria's secret. i took the b4 pics and I'm aimimg on taking a good pic on May 1st. That's how long till I hopefully reach my goal of 15lbs!
anyone else trying to get into a bikini?
doesnt matter what ur diet/exercise routine is , just want some support from others who are here for support, motivation, etc.0
