Forget about unrealistic expectations. Additionally, forget about those failed relationships.

Describe the perfect pizza!

I will take a Sicilian pizza with bacon and ham.

Thin crust (corn dusted), but not so thin as to be a "cracker", some sauce (not sweet, but with a kick) pepperoni, sausage, bacon & Onions. Then some cheese, then some more cheese, top that with even more cheese and finally have some parmesan to sprinkle on it after it is cook.

My perfect pizza would be :

    - Sweet sauce
    - Flaky crust and on the thin side
    - LOTS of cheese
    - Topped with hot pepper rings and sausage crumbles
    - 0 calories
    - In my mouth

    **Edited for "in my mouth"**

Crispy crust, extra sauce, and loaded with mushrooms.

And NOT Domino's or Pizza Hut.

My favorite toppings are pepperoni, black olive and pineapple. The crust choices depend on where I get my pizza.

Also, this is one of my favorite running t-shirts.

Old School NY pizza with just extra cheese.

I don't mean the crap designer 'NY STYLE' pizza that places sell, I mean the real thing! The kind that if you don't blot it with a paper towel you'll have grease running down your arm when you fold the slice and take a bite. The kind that if you try to eat it when it's too hot the cheese slides off and gives you 3rd degree burns on your chin.

The outer crust should be peeled off and with each bite of pizza you eat a little bit of the crust to get the proper bread/cheese/sauce ratio with each bite.

I never appreciated the perfection of the NY pizza until I moved from Jersey to Oregon and was faced with a dismal life of bad pizza (and really crappy bagels).

Share? Lately I've been into jalapeno and pineapple. Mhmmm, I said it, fruit on pizza, dammit! I'm a crust *kitten*, I'll take it pretty much any way I can get it.

My favorite pizza is actually called a calzone (sort of a folded over pizza) that I get at a pizzaria in Terracina, Italy near our summer place on the beach. It's a proscuitto and mozzarella calzone with fresh tomato sauce and basil on top--Naples style. The restaurant is called "La Foccacia". I wait all year until we go there. It is incredible.

Nice doughy crust, savory sauce with basil and oregano, and copious amounts of black and green olives. Yum!

Anything from the large vegetarian section of the menu at Hideaway Pizza in Tulsa, OK.

I'm not even a vegetarian. They're just all perfect and delicious.

hand-tossed crust, red sauce, spinach, feta (in addition to a smattering of mozz), red peppers, mushrooms, (pitted) kalamata olives, artichoke hearts. grilled chicken optional. gluten-free spelt crust if *i* make it (which is by far the best). don't judge me.

    ed for grammar and self-importance
