Hey Everyone!

I need some ideas for food that will keep me full. I'm in university and I find that while I'm studying I am constantly hungry. Any ideas?

Thanks:smile:

Melons seem to fill me up and they're fairly low cal.
I agree with Labrat about the hummus and eggs as well.
  • hummus is one of my favorite snacks. (don't know why I haven't made any lately) I am so glad to see someone else bring it up too.

Anything high fiber or protein works for me, I always throw chick peas or some other bean on my lunch salads, along with more protein like egg whites, fish nor poultry. It really fills me up. You might check into some Fiber Plus bars, they are good, chocolate chip and chocolate almond are two of my favorites. They would be easy to keep if you are in a dorm.

Black beans - awesome with salsa and a little light cheese in a whole wheat tortilla. I like them better in chili than traditional chili beans. You can do a lot of things with them.
  • thanks everyone!
