Eat Before or After a Run?

it totally depends. If I'm only going to be running for an hour or so, I don't usually eat specifically before or after and just stick to my regular meal routine. For long runs or races, I do eat well before (sometimes an hours before, and sometimes I'm at the start line with coffee and a poptart), and definitely nutrient dense foods within an 1.5hr of finishing, for a more comfortable recovery. Another thing that aids with recovery, for me, is making sure I take in decent calories DURING a long run.0
