I have recently discovered a few of the top MFP conspiracies!
#1: Most really good looking guys used to be really overweight, then lost the weight with MFP and then became really HOT!!! Thumbs up to all of you....
#2: I feel really stupid - I was disappointed by my 20kg loss until I figured out that this actually amounts to 44lbs. Yeah for me. MFP made me work extra hard to lose what I thought to be a little weight. Not so little after all....
3#: There should be an online psycologist on MFP to help us deal with all the changes and reactions...
Anyone else???

Love #3. I have such odd feelings about my body changing. Like I cried over the face that my toes were not all fat looking anymore. I could not handle that for like a good half hour. It was strange. Could have also just been PMS, LOL0

#5. Just because someone lost a lot of weight it instantly means they are a nutrition/physiology expert. No. It means they ate at a deficit.
P.S. OP If you look at this page http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/292044-what-is-your-weight-loss-the-equal-to
you'll see your 20kg (44 lb) loss equals an elephant heart in weight, massive!

#6 - Some MFP members talk about their giant calorie limits and the delicious ice cream and cake they've been eating specifically to sabotage me. Don't try to deny it!0

So when do you move into independent woman's house and become her new boyfriend? So jealous.0 -
No matter what you say, there will be somebody around to disagree with it.
"All you have to do is create a moderate calorific deficit, eat less/ do more"
"No no no no I have a medical condition so this does not work for me"
"Cutting out desserts helped me."
"No no no no, have desserts, I have desserts so you're doing it wrong!"
"I'm weighing and logging everything and the scale hasn't moved for 3 weeks"
"You're not weighing and logging everything."
Sometimes people have a point- say for example accuracy really counts when weighing and logging.
But I am amused and in awe of how there isn't one fact out there that somebody can't argue with (whether they're absolutely correct or a complete loon)
My personal fave is whenever there's a "my weight loss has stalled" topic... the eat more calories camp vs the inaccurate logging/ eat less camp.0 -

I believe that MFP is in cahoots with various clothing manufacturers. As I dropped weight, I had to go out and buy new clothes. I think the clothing industry gives a kickback to MFP.0

disagreeing with someone automatically equates to being a bully even if they decided to do a juice detox and only eat 800 cals a day!0
