    No, I don't, nor do I want to specifically. Honest appreciation of progress from my husband, from family and friends (yes, including those on MFP!) is worth so much more for my self-esteem. Hell, it's worth the world, because I am always first in the self-consciousness department, and now I finally start settling in the „comfortable with myself” mindset. I would never get the same from being hit on.

    I do have the occasional „Hey, you're pretty!”, „Hey, thank you!” conversation on the street. I like them obviously, they make me smile a long time afterwards. Other times I can tell when people are looking at me but I don't much like eye contact in public - and they don't approach, thankfully. I travel a lot for business, and business has always been strictly business. You connect with people, you go have nice dinners, you may talk life, but you always talk it with decency and without a second interest. At least that has been my experience. Then again I have been spared the horrors of what is called „team building” in the corporate world.
