    I never get hit on in person ... My friends they all get hit on... And some of them are not even close to being as attractive as I am .. I'm usually always smiling .. And having fun but nope ..     The issue is an individuals definition of hitting and being hit. I can walk a dozen blocks and receive a smile and solid eye contact from 1/2 dozen women on that walk. is that being hit on? or an invitation to HIT on? of course the answer is yes and no... one has to investigate further to determine the right answer. It is about attraction... physical attraction sure... BUT more importantly pheromonal attraction. Fear has an "odor" so does confidence... that is why you can poll as many women as you want... wherever you want and the overriding response will be that they are attracted to confidence and funny over appearance... unless of course "he" only has 2 teeth, one eye and a limp. then looks definitely matter.

    SO... guys... pay attention a smile and eye contact may be a "hit" IF you can turn it into one... ladies... you want to be hit on...smile and make eye contact... ifnothing else... that flirt always makes someone's day.

    The very visible wedding band might have something to do with it....... However, I have guys compliment me all the time, and girls will flirt with me quite aggressively if they are younger and not checking my finger, but normally I am quiet and keep to myself so I shrug off most advances.

    I had two girls that were on a morning walk smile, wink, and wave at me while I biked past them this morning. It felt pretty good. lol

    A very nice looking waiter asked me for my number when I was at Chili's with my daughters a month or so ago. I didn't even realize he was hitting on me until I walked out after. I'm probably a good 10 years older and still think of myself as not the type cute guys would go for. :confused:
