Actually, it's technically more like 87 days, but close enough!
Beginning stats:
Squat - 45 lb bar
BP - 45 lb bar
OHP - 30 lb bar
DL - 45 lb bar
BR- 45 lb bar
Stats now:
Squat - 65 lbs
BP - 60 lbs
OHP - 45 lb bar (getting very close to 50 lbs)
DL - 105 lbs
BR- 65 lbs
It was rough in the beginning, not gonna lie. I started with ZERO strength (this program is meant to be started with the person having already built some sort of baseline strength, which I did not do). I had a lot of issues to fight through because of that (form issues, general strength issues, etc). My gains are slow but they are steady.
I eat real food to include real butter, real cheese, and I eat bacon at breakfast. I track everything I eat down to the last gram with my food scale if at all possible. My daily caloric intake and macros have changed quite a bit over the last 90 days but I finally found my "happy place," which is eating 1750 calories per day with a macro count of 35/35/30. I am 5'5.
As my good friend and MFP user snowmaniac said to me at the very beginning: "Come to the heavy lifting side. We have cookies. And we can eat them."

Great job!!! Just goes to show the scale doesn't tell the whole story - I would have thought that was way more than a 5 pound loss!0

GREAT work! I hope you are fiercely proud of your effort and dedication!
Just started a weight lifting program on Monday. Looking forward to seeing my own 12-week progress down the road.

I've seen SO many lifting success stories on MFP now. AND I lift. But I'm still shocked to see how it completely transforms women's bodies.

I'd love to try strong-lifts but I don't have the equipment. And where I live (tiny Island - middle of the Pacific) there is limited options... BUT you look great and your results are inspirational. x0 -

Awesome results! I'm almost 6 months into SL and I haven't seen that kind of change in my stomach. It's mostly my arms and back. I'm impressed and a little jelly...0

That's Awesome! wish you could show me how! I want to lift not just the machines free weights!
Keep it up you look awesome!
I recommend watching the two Stronglift videos on YouTube (workout A and to give you an idea. A lot of people just watch these videos and figure it out on their own but I'm not that gifted of a learner, lol. I have to be shown. I got a PT for several sessions and it was money well spent. I lucked out and found someone who really knew what he was talking about and didn't try to feed me bro-science bull. If you go the PT route, make sure you do your research first so you can have an idea of what correct form is supposed to look like in case they themselves don't know what they're talking about.0 -
Wow! Get job lady!! Did you do any cardio to?
Yes. I do two days a week of HIIT training but NOT running/elliptical etc. I do a series of heavy dumb-bell exercises, bodyweight exercises, a couple of the weight machines (to include assisted chin-ups) and finish off with fast-paced rows on the row machine. I do this as a three-round circuit.0 -
You look amazing! Just another reminder about how TERRIBLE I am at actually taking progress pics.0

I may be having a brain fart, but what is the last lift you have listed? "BR"?
ETA: looked it up. nevermind. Barbell Row. Which didn't occur to me because...that's how I row But now i want to know, if anyone does, is there a difference between barbell row and pendlay row?0 -
