    Fairly new 2 MFP but my goal for next 2 weeks is to do 20 min on elliptical and increase walking 4 the whole month. This goal is great 4 me. Hopefully will b a motivation. :wink:

    I walk a lot every day, though I don't have any fancy gadgets. :)

    Hi evreryone,
    I got my walk in today. I had two grandsons with me. One who is 10, on his bike, and the other is almost 3, he walked and rode in the stroller. We walked to DQ for lunch. I looked up the Grilled Chicken sandwich without mayo and that was my pick for lunch and a SF, FF fudge bar. Probably the best fudge bar on the planet. That was .73 miles.
    Then off to the park and playground. We took the long way. Another .77 miles. Hung out and played on playground, hot and windy. Then we headed home, walking against the hot strong wind. Another .63 miles. So my total walking workout was 2.13 miles and 45 minutes of actual walking. I didn't count the playground time.

    Came home, drank a gallon of water, and took a short nap with the 3 year old in front of a fan. hahaha

    My fitbit recorded my steps, but did not count my walking as active activity. It did yesterday. ?????????????

    So far this month (Those tracked on map my walk at least)...

    5th: 17.4 miles (Total: 17.4 miles)
    6th: 0 (Total: 17.4 miles)
    7th: 13.9 miles (Total: 31.3 miles)
    8th: 6.2 miles (Total: 38.3 miles)
    9th: 5.1 miles (Total: 43.4 miles)
    10th: 10 miles (Total: 53.4 miles)
    11th: 4.4 miles so far (Total 57.8 miles)

    Will do another 9 to get home from work later on today, my goal was originally 100 for May, but think I should increase it to 200, just to see if I can... Shame I'm not making as much progress with my running challenge!

    Happy Mother's Day to all, I didn't walk much. About 2 miles. Played around in yard with grandsons. And chased after a 1 year old granddaughter who is walking. I hope everyone had a great day. I had the greatest day with my boys and their families. I had my sad moments, and we shared those too. But mostly lots of laughs. And a healthy lunch. And an okay healthy dinner out. Hitting the pavement hard tomorrow. good night to all.

    Back from vacation and here are my May stats in miles so far:

    5/1 = Total 7.3/Cardio 1.9
    5/2 = Total 5.1/Cardio 2.1
    5/3 = Total 3.3/Cardio 1.2 (spent 7 hours in car)
    5/4 = Total 8.5/Cardio 3
    5/5 = Total 7/ Cardio 2.2
    5/6 = Total 5.2/Cardio 3.4
    5/7 = Total 6.5/Cardio 2.2
    5/8 = Total 9.5/Cardio Did not measure
    5/9 = Total 6.5/Cardio 2.3
    5/10 = Did not measure total/Cardio 1
    5/11 = Did not measure total/Cardio 1.1 (another 7 hour car day)

    Total to date: 50.9 miles total/18.3 Cardio miles

    Now that I am home and things back to normal and will try not to miss recording the miles.

    I missed three days. Between ER visit, a birthday and Mothers day it was not happening. Today I walked amile and a half. DH is joining in. :-)
