86 pounds. I checked four TDEE calculators and they say 1460-1475 range for TDEE. One of the calculators came with a warning that said underweight, check with a doctor. There is reason to be concerned with the obsession about the numbers and the scale.

OP are you even reading any of the response in this thread, or are you just trolling?

what the hell kind of assumption is that? at this point, ask yourself if you're even helping or just ranting. you've made your arguments, and i kept asking my questions. I think i get it now. so why are you still talking? and no, I'm not trolling. this was a legit question.

i said before in this thread READ IT BEFORE YOU COMMENT AGAIN. i'm gonna pick a lower number and see how that works because some guy up there did the math for me (which was nice and incredibly helpful).

Because this place is about being HEALTHY, not about supporting anorexic behavior. Sorry if you don't like that.

    5'2. 86 pounds. Age 19.

Someone who shouldn't be obsessing about the scale and about calories and being terrified about gaining any weight when she is 20 pounds lighter than what she should be for MINIMUM health.

lmao I think she was talking about me? Where do you see that I have other profiles, all I said was you need to stop trying to convince the OP of anything. Obviously she's very set in her ways and she seems to have retained some sort of advice from the other people on here and got her question answered. At this point you just seem like you're beating the dead horse.

why do you think you're better than everyone, you sound like a sarcastic d*ck to be honest. I'm not holding back anymore. what makes you so superior to everybody that you can nitpick my height and weight? i'm serious, who the *kitten* are you?

This site does NOT support unhealthy habits. It has nothing to do with being superior or nitpicking. Seriously, you need help if you are obsessing about having gained a couple of pounds to 86 whole pounds. Unless you are like 12, which is perhaps an acceptable weight.

and you are not allowed to personally attack, call names or otherwise insult anyone.

So perhaps the OP needs to remember that too...

If there was ever a thread that highlights the dangers of over complicating things this is it, for someone to be concerned over 58 cals or whatever the sum was and a pound of weight common sense has long left the building, count your calories as accurately as possible and jump on a scale once a week then use the thing between your ears to get where you want to be, paralysis by analysis is not a good thing

    yo! sorry it is confusing.

i am literally almost a midget lol, my doctors know i'm quite small...i think for a while there I was a nationally-recognized, legal 'little person' (and i don't mean to offend people because i am really this short), so my TDEE/BMR have always appeared startlingly low. additionally, I'm at a computer all day and don't drive, so i'm taking a train and sitting all day, no exercise. very low-cal for that reason. but i aim to maintain.

i can't really tell if i've maintained. its been about 4 months since i began to eat at 1337 and i have gained 1 pound, but I don't know if that is water weight or a daily fluctuation. my weight always changed every morning. back then (4 months ago) id wake up one day 3 pounds heavier then be two lighter the next day at the same time. so i counted it as sodium or water weight and think i've maintained ok, maybe within 2 pounds.
    Congratulations!
You have found your correct intake and you are maintaining.

take note of the exercises you do or any activity withing that last month plus your calorie intake, now from that data.... progress to either adjust carb intake or add in exercise intensity to warrant weight loss/gain depending on your goal.... goodluck.... slow dieting is the key, goodluck!
