Hi fitness buddies,
I'm so busy but oh so happy. I'll be catching up on your posts very soon. My sister had her baby today, finally, and am so thankful that all went well. Going to visit her tonight at the hospital, then meeting a volleyball coach tonight to look at possible classes for our group of girls from church.

Good morning team! What a beautiful morning in Colorado. It was about 51 coming into work today and it is suppose to get to around 75 I think. I love fall!!!!
Today is going to be a zoo. I have a meeting most of the morning and then a funeral this afternoon. That is never fun! It is for a very active community member and educator. She died as a result of a car accident she was involved in. Very sad! I'm sure it will be a HUGE service! Just glad I am able to work it in to attend and pay respects.
Didn't make it to CURVES last night but am headed there after this hectic day. I will need it by the end.

Didn't run yesterday-hoping to sneak in at least 20 minutes during lunch today-it'll be a wet run, it's raining.
Good news-Mom's arm doesn't require any PT. Baylee's car isn't really that bad-just cosmetic damage, and the IRS will accept payments for what we owe from our 2008 audit - overall it was a good day yesterday! Should have skipped the baked cheetos for my snack.
Oh Chrissy...It sounds like you have been having a terrible time lately. Glad things are looking up. 2008 must have been the year for audits. We were also audited because of a mistake my tax guy made and are making payments:(0 -
Tammy-it seems like they look at who's paid taxes and try to find even more! Oh well- it is what it is and can't fret over it!0

Ann--I wish you well at the funeral--It is always good to go get closure. I just found out my uncle passed away Early yesterday morning. I wasn't close to him. I feel for his family though. It sure gives you perspective on what is important in life though.

I am so excited to go pick up fruits and vegies from the co-op on Saturday. I will get 6 fruits and 6 vegies. I don't know what they are yet, but I think that is part of the excitement. :bigsmile: My husband probably thinks I am crazy--especially since I have to get there by 7 am to pick it all up. But it is going to be a fun adventure...

Hi all...Hope you are having a good day. I just finished working and am ready for lunch. I spent most of yesterday running errands and today I plan on taking a nap. The roof job got put off til tomorrow due to rain this morning so my house is nice and quiet :yawn: We are having homemade baked beans and rotisserie barbecue chicken breasts for supper. Those beans in the crock pot smell sooo good. Today at boot camp we did the P90X DVD of plyometrics and it kicked my butt. We are halfway through our class and so far I've lost 15 pounds. Now if only I could lose 15 more I'd be at my goal. See y'all tomorrow.
Debnu...The co-op sounds exciting. I think I would enjoy that too.
Christy...Prayers for a speedy recovery for your daughter.

Snuck a quicky nooner lunch run in - did 2 miles jogging and almost 1 more walking.

Got in an hour walk with Lexi today,plus over an hour of cleaning I am hoping to get a run in tomorrow, plus more cleaning :grumble:
Did some yard work yesterday and between that and my walk today my legs are feeling it a little
I wish I had someone around here to go walking or jogging with to help keep me motivated.

Happy Thursday! Yeah....almost the week-end! Yesterday was stressful but we all survived and as everyone has stated.....CURVES was great. I always feel so much better after I go there! In fact am hyped about getting back there tonight! I think I should hit my goal of 4 times this week!!!
Eating habits haven't been all that hot this week but seem to be maintaining! I really need to jumpstart my metabolism to get back to loosing instead of maintaining!

Crazy week for me. I can improve on the eating and well, the exercising is getting better. I'm so busy with training at work and school and also doing training at home with a friend for business. Tonight I'm taking a volleyball class for 4 hours. I'm pretty excited about that....I should burn some calories there.

Well I did it today........ KFC has brought that double death to Canada, so i've been curious and thought, what the heck before I start getting back into better foods (which I sorta have been all along), I might just try to see how good/bad this thing was.
Double down - Never again.
KFC should have on their cash register, a button if your a repeat buyer, or your trying it first time for the novelty. I'm sure 99% of the people buying it will be 1st time curious people and won't be repeat customers.
It was sssssssssssssssalty, I know it has lots of sodium, and it didn't taste that great, even with bacon on it. Thought everything tasted good with bacon.. :laugh:
I can now say that I was one who tried it, and will never have it again.
Renovation time. 27 boxes of laminate floor down there in the basement and the boss:laugh: wants me to start the main floor..... Living room, dining room, kitchen and hallways.
I/we need to rip up the carpet, paint ceilngs, paint walls, paint kitchen cupboards and get a new countertop. Then lay down the new floor.
So I'll be having a busy fall/winter and need to start prioritizing a workout with all that renovating going on.0 -

Did a ton of cleaning today and yard work, my body is tight right now I need a hot shower to relax it going to go running in the am might even double my noprmal length not sure yet
I am going to turn in an application probably monday it would only be temperary but for $16 an hour I think I can paint power poxes.

Had a great volleyball class last night- lasting 4 hours. I think I have found my new sport. lol. I saw the biggest loser episode and I get so made when the contestants "play the game" and kick out people who have been losing weight consistently, just because they are a big threat. They kicked out Rich who had been the biggest loser for the last weeks. So dissapointing.
Anyhow, I have received 3 weigh ins this morning, so keep them coming guys.

Peter I think you can count renovating as exercise, you lift heavy things, carry them and swing a hammer....sounds like a BL workout to me. :bigsmile:
The last BL episode bugged me too. I hate people who play the game. I wish that they had kicked out whoever had mentioned the whole throw the weigh in idea. I don't remember who it was, I was distracted while watching.
Keep up all the moving! I keep remembering I need to move more. I have this problem called lack of inertia. I need to just get up ang going and the inertia will continue but I keep going back to baseline (sitting) instead.
Tonight is an inaugural gala where my hubby is going to be put in as a vice chairman of the remodelers council in our state. I am excited for him, although I think he is a little overwhelmed by the position. I am going to get all gussied up for it. I figure it isn't that often that I get out on a date, let alone a dressy one. I might as well go all out. I found a nice semi-formal dress that doesn't make me look fat, but pregnant, and I am going to go get my hair done. Haven't done that since my wedding. I am excited.

I really need to concentrate on my food choices right now the guys have brought into the house swiss cake rolls nutty bars and a huge bag of kit kats and I am having a hard time turning them down. I am trying tro figure out a hralthy sweet snack to eat instead but I can't figure anything out but I will keep looking

Kathleen - a sugary cereal usually helps kill a sweet tooth craving for me - still not great but better than a kit kat or cookes! Fruity pebbles and chocolate cheerios are my two favorites!0

I have this problem too. Halloween is a bit of a big deal in my apartment and my roommate keeps a well stocked plastic pumpkin in our living room full of treats. I've found that while I can't avoid the candy all together, I can get him to buy candy with calories I can handle. My favorite are sweet tarts. They come in little packs of 3 and are actually kind of ok, as far as candy goes.
Also, for the first time in my recent memory I am officially a HEALTHY weight for my height! Which also means I'm about 5 lbs from my goal. Holy cow! When did this happen! I am officially celebrating by going clothes shopping tomorrow.
Keep working hard everyone! And for all that are sick (like me) this week, feel better and get right back too it once your body is ready!0 -

I did do something noteworthy today - after being deferred twice in a row, I finally managed to get my iron high enough to donate blood again!

Enjoying a nice night at home with uncle. Hubby is down at friends house playing pool. Didn't feelilike going and dealing with his wife.
