I can fit into my old jeans I hadn't worn in years!2

I paced myself at a 5 on it...I think I was trying to go too fast in the past...try that and see if it helps!1

Congrats to everyone on their NSVs. You should all take a bow!
As for me, this weekend I have 2 NSVs. Yesterday I saw my daughter for the first time in 3 weeks. We usually see each other every week but she's had a frantically busy time lately so I have had to content myself with phone calls and text messaging. She was amazed at the way I looked - this after me being a bit downhearted that she hadn't been noticing my weight loss on a week-to-week basis. She told me I look fantastic!
Today I did day 1 of c25k! I actually did it! I didn't flail around like I feared I would, and I felt like I could have kept going. I haven't run since I was forced to at school ... 35 years ago, and I've had an aversion to running like you wouldn't believe. But today, after doing lots of walking over the last few weeks, I felt ready to give it a go. I am so proud of myself I could burst!7 -
This thread makes me smile
My latest NSV was yesterday when I realised I feel so much smaller when I put my hands at the top of my hips! The fat at the back (love handles) has almost disappeared and that must be why my jeans are fallin g off me although my measurements seem to be the same (I don't measure there!)4 -
Went to buy a new skirt for a date, and tried on some other stuff for the heck of it - and every single item I brought in the fitting room was a small. Its still kind of surreal to me - I used to be 262 lbs, size 24 pants, 42DD bra, XXL or sometimes XXXL shirt.
Now I'm in a small? I mean not everything small fits, you know how clothes run different. Some smalls I can't fit. But at least half of the stuff I take into fitting rooms these days are a small. If it looks like it runs really small I'll get a medium.
Best of all though, I finally feel confident enough to not wear "cover up" clothes. Long-ish shirts to hide my lower tummy. Loose fitting shirts. Tank tops with a button up top over it that covers my stomach. Light jackets even when the weather didn't call for it. All to cover up my body, my stomach -the body I felt so uncomfortable in. So many warm San Francisco days spent in more layers than I wanted to. Not anymore. Now I go out in a simple top, and the feeling of freedom, to feel the air on my skin, to feel like a ::part:: of the world, is something I just can't put into words.11 -

I've never been more than about 25 pounds overweight so I have never had this experience ... but this brought tears to my eyes. You MUST be feeling so incredibly good having this newfound freedom. I don't know you at all but I'm so happy for you - I want to cheer and dance! :flowerforyou:

I am not huffing and puffing through my mouth while I take walks. I am able to go longer because I do not assume I am dehydrated because of dry mouth.1

So inspiring NSV's here.
As for me - I have realised today that I do not own a single item of clothing, which isn't too big on me. i've spend half a day going through my wardrobe and boxes in the garage, pulling things out and trying them on just to conclude that there is nothing there which would have a nice fit on me. Bitter sweet - I wont be getting this iPhone 6 I wanted as I need entire wardrobe of new clothes !3 -
I've just been out and replaced my whole collection of underwear. I have always been a UK size 14-16 and am delighted that I've had to change it all to my new size - UK 10's, yay!2

I finally, FINALLY got my bike in the shop this Friday. Thunder is getting a tune up and maybe a new derailer. I know for some it seems late in the season to start riding, but I winter ride if it's not snowing to hard in the valley.
I had to take two buses and Trax to get it there, but the day was beautiful, so there ya go.
SO excited...0 -

I now have definition in the back of my thighs right under my bottom and noticed my booty is getting rounder! :-D2

I bought shirts and pants from Target, not a Big 'n' Tall store for the first time since 9th grade.2

It's been 3 months since I quit smoking.8

I beat my old PR (personal record) in a half marathon yesterday by FIVE minutes! That's a lot! From 2:02 to 1:57, roughly a 9 minute mile. Granted the course was all downhill so that helped quite a bit. But hey I'll take it. :drinker:2

Today I had a mock interview to prepare for pharmacy school interviews later this month. Went to put on the skirt suit I bought last spring and it is waaaaaaaaaaay too big! I have to go get it tailored to get it to fit! Not like I had wiggle room; I could not wear it out of the house it was so big on me. YAAAAAAAAAY! for my waistline. BOOOOOOO! for my wallet LOL1

Thank you Today was a gorgeous warm day here in SF, and I spent the whole day in a tank top - it felt great1 -
A friend from uni wrote to me on Facebook tonight to say that she could see that I have lost weight and she really envies my hourglass figure! I don't think she could ever know what an amazing compliment that is3
-
Just realised my rings are a little loose... even though i lost very little ... :flowerforyou:1
-
I went clothes shopping today. I fit into a 22 pant! I was a 28 in April. Also, I bought 3x tops vs 5x3

Hitting the exercise bike three days in a row now. I know it isn't much but it's great to get back in the exercising groove again! Exercising always gets my mind off the bad food too. I love it!1

Yesterday, a co-worker emailed me and said that I am 'tiny.' I'm still well above my goal weight (and my healthier weight from 3 years ago) but I'll take it!!!5

What does NSV mean? New here.
I have a success, yesterday, I was able to run a mile straight after not running for the 9 months I was pregnant. My son is 2 months old and I am so proud of myself today cant wait to run today.2 -
Can easily walk down stairs these days and going up isn't too bad either!4

at my new gym i'm doing cardio with an interval intensity program (rather than interval training with different speeds). i used to do this at my old gym with different cardio machines, but could never do it on the elliptical. now i am. last week i could only manage 10 mins; this week i managed 15 i think my form is improving with my romanian deadlifts, and i've added weights to my stepups where i was only doing bodyweight before.
i'm back into my favourite skirt (which means i am near a UK 20 again - it's a big-fitting size 20 - i was realistically between a UK 22-24 a few months ago) and able to fit into a new skirt i'd bought a few months back because i adored the pattern even though it cut into me so bad when i tried it on.
a dress i bought a month or so ago that was comfortably loose on me is now bordering on too big and gaping at the neck and back.
and today i have indulged with cake & cider but am still under my net calories goal and i'm not hungry. win!2 -
I had a former workmate ask me today in a genuine manner if I had lost weight . He's a pretty gruff, mans mans type of guy so it's not something I expected of him. Was good to hear.3

I feel like I am posting a bit too frequently here but I tried on some of my winter coats today that were too tight last year and they fit and have room in!! One of them is a vintage coat my DH bought me when we met before marriage and pregnancy! I cannot wait to wear it again :happy:3

Went to the gym after a few days off, thought I'd struggle to get back into it, but ended up adding 10kg to my bench press3

I bought a sweater a month ago...which didn't really fit me well. Today is my 11th day into this journey all over again....and my sweater fits SO MUCH better.1
