Yesterday was my 1 year vegeterian anniversay, 1 year of logging my food in MFP and I also completed Week 8, day 1 of C25K.20

I have lost 20.8 lbs since April 18th 🙃22

Today I'm wearing a shirt that I almost threw away last month because I thought I looked fat in it. I look good in it today31

I'm in the 160s now!21

A cute Polish boy whispered "whoa" under his breath, accompanied by a look up and down, as I stepped out of my hotel this morning in my killer new floral dress.
So I winked at him and his heart stopped 😆😆
I was feeling pretty and confident this morning anyways but that was such a boost 😊😊41 -
Fitting into shorts that I haven’t been able to wear for two years!22
-
Felt a hard lump near my breast & went hot to cold....mini panic
Upon further investigation I found it to be... a rib. Pretty embarrassing NSV but I'm counting it!

Someone I see at the gym sometimes complimented me on my weight loss! She came up to me while I was lifting weights and told me that she sees me around and noticed that I lost weight, and that I look good! I get so self-conscious lifting weights it totally made my day.24

I paddled my SUP 10.3 miles this morning - first time I have made it to double digits!24

So so with you. In my dreams this will happen to me. Haven't been that size since junior high school! Thanks for the chuckle lyhyl and koodos to "no underwire"OP above for the nsv!

I hit my held low plank goal yesterday of five minutes.32

A couple I experienced yesterday. I jogged up some stairs that go up a hill while at the lake because it seemed like a good idea. Even though the incline wasn't very steep, last year I was slightly out of breath WALKING them. This year I jogged up and it didn't even phase me. Also, while at the lake I have a friend who just loves to take candid photos and then post them to face book. *shudders* While browsing through I found what she posted this morning from yesterday. Bikini pic of me sitting on the boat - relaxed posture. (I was unaware I was being photographed, so no sucking it in!) While still a bit chubby, I looked WAY better then last year. I might have to steal it and use as a progress photo. Her candid Facebook pics are one of the reasons I got started this year. I remember looking at them going "OH wow... That's how I look? I've gotta do something about that!" Now I should use them to keep going! LOL.30

I can fit into size 8 jean shorts. When I look at them - they look too small for me - but when I start putting them on, they actually fit. I still have this gap between what my mind thinks my body size is, and what my body size really is - if that makes sense.34

I discovered I have ribs...26

Makes perfect sense to me - eventually you’ll get used to your new size5 -
I went running again. It was raining again. I went anyway.38

I have this mental gap, too. I look at my jeans and think, "OH GOD THEY WON'T FIT." And when they do, I'm like, "Wow, I guess I stretched them suckers out." Or I'll catch myself in the mirror and go, "There's no way I fit into my pants." And yet I do.
In my mind, I must be like the ChangingSizesWoman: in an instant, shrinking to fit into pants and then as soon as them puppies are off, BAM, expanded again. I know it's not true, but that's how it feels.
As for an NSV... I had a GREAT birthday, but y'know how it goes. Water weight, water weight, water weight! I had a lot more sugar than I normally eat (or like!). So of course, I plumped up on some water weight. BUT. I figured, wth, I'll measure a few places. (Official measure day is next Saturday). And yahoo. DOWN AN INCH/HALF AN INCH in the important places (hips, calves, thighs).
I'm in the hard part of weight loss: no real immediate goal, the next goal feels like it's across the desert I'm crossing without water, and a bit of a plateau (probably more masked water weight from hormones/birthday/yesterdays excesses). Every little bit helps!24 -
NSV for me this evening: I ordered dominoes and ate less than half the pizza. Previously I would have eaten at least three quarters if not the whole lot. I physically don't feel like I could have eaten any more than that as I feel really full. Listening to my body and acting on it is definitely something new for me26

Vonny - your NSV made me laugh. You are not the first person to discover that there are bones in there somewhere.

Theres a gap between my neck and shirt collar now. It used to feel like my neck was the hulk and that little tiny button had to resist.25

Thought I'd try on a few of my pre-pregnancy clothes. I've had two babies in two years and my youngest is now a year old. Practically everything from pre-preg either fits or is too big. The stuff I had between babies I'm swimming in. I'm not as muscular as I was before babies but I'm feeling great knowing that I've got my old wardrobe back. And I'm working on getting that muscle back too30

I made it to the gym for circuit training. Twice in one week. Now for the other 1998 times I need to go. One at a time.,,21

Ran 3,5 km with average time of 6 m 30 seconds per km. Breaking all kinds of personal records here 😀16

I wore a shirt that was hanging off me and felt too big. I am just seeing a change in my body this last month. I have been plateaued and looking into options. 3 days straight of posting my food diary is a victory after a month away.
Proud I recommitted.21 -
270 days in a row of logging on mfp.18

Having the same clothes fit but with the new, strange and exciting feeling of tightness from a lean frame that has gradually replaced a flabby one. Just reaching forward and feeling the shirt tighten around the shoulders/lats. Feelsgoodman.jpg20

Saw a reflection of myself in the window as I walked towards my office, my arms are noticeably thinner. Its short sleeves weather so I hadn't noticed it in my clothes. Yay, Glad to have something to post in this thread!

I’ve been away for a month - but I was back in body pump on Wednesday and today I’m back at couch to 5k. I was worried I would have lost all progress but I managed a 7m and a 10m jog at my usual pace so that’s pretty much week2 day 2! I’ve only gone back two weeks
Also I came back from a month of exercise and good eating only a tiny bit bigger than when I left. My jeans that just fit when I left are only just a touch too tight9 -
My very first NSV, it’s taken months, but I’ve taken 45 seconds off my rowing pace since first starting. I’m super happy. Still much progress to be made.21

I fit into the dress! I bought a dress online for my best friend's wedding. The sizing was different and I bought it too small. When I first got it I thought there was no way I'd fit into it. But then I did. And it was a beautiful wedding and I was able to enjoy myself without worrying about not fitting it.35
