My summer NSV...extreme tan lines from my workout clothes. I've tried to blend them at the pool, but they still look ridiculous in a bikini! (The parts that never see the sun actually look like they are glowing. Shhhhhh....it's my secret)23

I bought a small dress off Amazon, and it fit. Not only did it fit, but it was looser than I thought it'd be. Woohoo!34

I had a "day off" on Saturday, ate and drank what I wanted. I enjoyed it, but now I am enjoying eating normally again. And I don't feel in a rush to have a "day off"again any time soon.
Good habits have become "normal".27 -

😃😃😃👗👗👗👗🥂🥂🥂 Lamentably small champagne glasses but hey - appropriate?7 -
I tried on shoes for a wedding with ankle straps, and they did up comfortably, no digging in. This is a new feeling.23

After shopping in the big and tall section for most of my life, yesterday I bought a pair of pants that were in the "normal" size section.31

I made a testimonial video for my gym/trainer. It turned out amazing, and I love how I look in it.31

Attended a celebration of life event where some friends lost their 47-48 year old son. My BiL was in town from Cleveland as he went to college with the young man. He and others commented that I was looking good.
While I did have a scale victory as well, seeing the 2-teens on the scale this weekend, it was really the comments that were the victory.
Well that and being able to fit under the kitchen sink to replace the 11 year old faucet that needed some attention...15 -
Knelt down to take a photo. Got back up again without using my hands.28

Shoe NSVs are the BEST. I love that I'm wearing my strappy shoes without the velcro straps popping off from foot pudge. GOOD JOB!9 -

Hehehe yes, very appropriate! And hey, I wore SHORTS yesterday TOO. All exposed and stuff. Without anyone running away screaming in abject horror. I consider this an NSV. Not only because, shorts XD, but because I did something I'm not entirely comfortable doing.24 -

Share it!!!! Always love to see what you are up to.....you are my MFP hero.... LOL6 -
I went to the gym on a Monday morning before work. I didn't do much on this day - the gym is still very new to me and I'm getting comfortable with it, but the going was the most important part. I proved to myself that I could when before it felt like too much. I only had to get up 15 min earlier too. I lollygagged so much in the morning that I could fit in a whole gym session, and only had to account for driving time.22

Had tummy-tuck surgery 5 days ago. Went to Dr today and had pump removed, finally able to remove compression garment and take a shower. Dried off and sat on bed to dress. Looked down and for the first time in about 20 years my stomach did not roll over covering my groin and half my thighs. I cried happy tears for about 15 minutes.71

@Huff870
The goal of being "normal". All of us that were extremely overweight and/or obese truly understand. That's such an awesome achievement! Congratulations.13 -
Had two yesterday:
1) Workout leggings kept slipping down off my waist
2) During a toning section of the class, I looked down at my thighs and they were visibly smaller!13 -

Just talked a co-worker off the "ledge" she was ready to cave in on our pact and go to the cafe at work to buy lunch (typically pizza or nasty fried food) which we swore off of doing together because we make bad decisions. Normally I would have just agreed and walked down with her, but instead encouraged her to eat what she brought for lunch first and then see how she feels.38

Fasting blood sugar was <100 for the first time in at least two years!29

Last year when I hiked it, I had to stop frequently to catch my breath and get my heart rate down. I had to take my inhaler even though I had already taken it before beginning the hike. I was miserable for most of the hike.
This year: I was able to keep up with my husband and friend. They didn't have to wait on me all the time to rest before I could continue. Most rest breaks involved hydrating myself or the dogs. Not because I couldn't walk another step. I decided not to take the long loop, because it would add another hour to a 3 hour hike. But I could have. We completed the short loop in 2 hours! I hiked the whole thing, without really stopping. My lungs protested a bit, but I did not need the 2nd puff on my inhaler. I hiked this year. Did not die. Fitness goal accomplished! (sort of)
The sort of part: In preparation for hiking comfortably this year I have been working my whole body towards that goal. Especially a focus on my glutes, quads, and hamstrings & the like to propel me up the mountain. I kind of left those tiny little muscles on my hips behind though. (hip flexors). I spent the good part of yesterday hobbling around like I was 80 because they were so sore! Apparently Pilates leg lifts needs to be part of my routine now.
Fantastic improvemet in your fitness level. Very inspiring for me. Hiking is one of my goals too.5 -

I turned down peach pie tonight after checking the nutrition information and seeing it was 310 calories a slice! This was at a family dinner, which is usually tougher for me. So I’m pretty proud. 😊5

Slipped my jeans down over my hips without unzipping, today... Think it's time for some smaller ones...25

I started weight training a month or two ago. Up until now, I’ve either trained with a friend or used free PT sessions from signing up to the gym. Today was the first time I went alone. To the scary free weights section of the gym, where I was the only woman. 8 months ago I couldn’t even go to the supermarket alone as I was in the grips of severe depression, and I would have laughed if you had told me what I would have done today. I’m actually proud of myself!65

One of the instructors at my gym is blatantly trying to poach me from another instructor's classes.
I mean, I don't know why she's trying to poach me, it may be that all the errors in my technique are killing her and she just wants to get her hands on me to fix it. But it's nice to feel wanted27 -
I've had two people in the past two weeks (in an office of only 12!) compliment this one skirt I have. It's not a new skirt. I've worn this skirt probably once a week for MONTHS. The only thing that's changed is my weight. My skirt looks better on me now, I think, and it's drawn out the compliments!26

@IremiaRe
That's awesome! And, yes when pants can come on and off without undoing them, time to go down a bit. From someone that has lost substantial weight, I recommend buying pants that are slightly snug (will last longer as you continue to shrink), and a belt. Preferably a belt that is adjusted via clips/the strap and not belt holes (if you still have more than 50lbs to go) or you'll find yourself needing to make new belt holes as well.8
