I just had to say that I love this photo, you both look really happy. Love the fact that you had consecutive numbers as well. You should frame this and put it where you'll see it every day9 -

Thank you so much! I definitely should frame it we were pretty excited to be numbers 9 and 10 haha. Most people had boring long numbers.5 -
Here's my NSV. Decent time (for me, anyway) and I didn't feel even a twinge in my hamstring!

I was working out and my shorts fell down! I need smaller shorts!

Did my first 20km cycle ride today19

This is a total vanity thing, but I've been wearing heels for 2 days in a row. I haven't been able to wear anything but my prescription orthotic athletic shoes for the last *year* because my feet and knees have caused me so much pain (not even able to go barefoot). I haven't been able to wear even the tiniest heel for several years because my center gravity had shifted because of my weight, and again, so much pain in my feet and legs just from standing up.
We've had lots of graduation things going on for the last week, and so I decided to try. No pain, no falling on my face or twisting my ankle.
I felt feminine for the first time in a long, long time.

Wore some very old clothes to do some dirty yard work. Washing/folding them, I realized that they looked just huge to me.
When I first lost weight after 30+ years of being fat, my new clothes looked freakishly tiny to me.
I guess, after a year-plus in maintenance, my brain is finally adjusting a little bit to the new reality.34 -
I felt super low but still made my way to the gym regardless, and I wore shorts for the first time there today.21

@Madwife2009 here is one for you spotted on a five mile walk the other day. You seem to like the birdies
@Mooma29 - just realised I forgot to say thank you for thinking of me, it's a great photo. And you're right, I do like birds (and other wildlife, including my children).
We live near a nature reserve that has loads of herons (never saw any prior to moving here) and the rangers are more than willing to give talks on them. The herons nest quite early here - we went to a talk in February and they were looking after their chicks at that point. Some of the herons are used to people and don't worry about being near them, so people throw them cooked meat. The funniest thing I saw was a heron walking around in the water with a cooked chicken leg in its beak. The chicken leg was bigger than the heron's head so I have no idea how it was going to be eaten.9 -
I've been fighting the 3 lbs I gained back on vacation in Spain in April. I have a lot more to lose, at least 30 lbs, but the 3 I gained back were NOT leaving! Today I got on the scale and they are gone! I'm back to my pre vacation weight (down 23 from starting weight).
So I pulled out the tape measure and I lost 2" in the waist and 1" in the hips! Previously I hadn't lost an inch in either.27 -
I broke my PR for a 5k!37

@Madwife2009 "my" heron lives in the rivelin valley which is a place we love to walk, we saw him again today actually. Only ever see that one though, well I assume it's the same one. we also saw robins and squirrels. Walked 6 miles today in an attempt to undo the damage of a wedding anniversary weekend at the seaside10

This morning I cycled 13 miles; my farthest ride to date. Came home to a fist-bump from my son.
Yesterday I shoveled dirt into my new raised strawberry bed and my back doesn't hurt today!25 -

feeling SO ACCOMPLISHED with running! Since starting C25K, I could barely run for 1min, I'm now up to 8min runs at a time!33

I signed up for a 1/4 marathon (6.55 miles). I decided I better see if I could run that far since I've previously only run about 5.5 miles at the longest. I crushed my 6.55 goal by running 7.68 miles at a 10:14/mile pace. I think I can handle it32

Just took three giant bags of clothes to Goodwill. These are the contractor size, not kitchen size. They are way too big, and I am not keeping them "in case." There will be no "in case," no safety net.40
