Came to work in my usual scrub pants. After about an hour, I couldn't stand them just about falling off of my body. I had to go to the OR and get new pair in the next lower size only to find that they're super big now too!31

Our annual company meeting was this week so I saw remote employees I hadn't seen for about a year. Had to laugh because I got compliments on changing my hair, but not the 85 pounds lost. Lol at least they noticed /something/ was different31

I went to Five Guys tonight and kept my dinner under my remaining calories for the day. And I had not planned on going tonight. Do you how hard it is not to eat, like, 1000 calories at Five Guys? I got a Little Hamburger and had about 1/2 cup of fries. OMG...their fries are like a piece of heaven. I thought I'd cave and eat the entire bag, but surprisingly I had my 1/2 cup and I felt full. I was proud of myself!45

I had a lot of errands to run today and wasn't able to do my morning workout. When I got home, the kids didn't nap. I was so tired and feeling lazy.
But finally pushed myself to get that workout done at 11:30pm! So it still counts as Friday's workout haha25 -
I attained my first running goal, I ran a sub 25 minute 5K! 24:04 to be precise!31

Now my NSV: I ran a 5k on Saturday (my 5th so far), and it was HOT. I was miserable the whole time. I kept thinking how much. I wanted to quit. But I finished and didn't stay around for the awards ceremony. Come to find out I won 3rd place in my age group!!!! I get a special medal and everything! Third: when I was taking my race bib off, I hadn't noticed the whole race but my bib number is my goal weight! So I put that thing on the fridge to remind me that if you want to reach your goals, you gotta work for it even when you don't want to and even when it's HOT!
Wonderful post!! Love that you have your race bib on your fridge!12 -
Tonight I wore a pair of pre 2nd baby shorts and a pretty tank top I had all but given up on ever wearing again!
(We hope for more kids and I had given up on account of wanting to get pregnant again soon)
... Which I guess that means I've done what I set out to do! My goal was to lose the baby weight from pregnancy #2 & strengthen my body as much as possible before becoming pregnant a 3rd time! WOW!
Welp, NEW GOAL: lets see how much baby weight from #1 I can lose before becoming pregnant with the 3rd!
I'm in shock. I didn't realize the goal was complete until typing this out!35 -

Believe it or not, this has become a victory after a few bad weekends, and I'm proud of myself. I'm still not ordering the pizza. I'll repeat it all weekend to myself.
Love this post. Go you!

Just plodded 25 minutes . . . C25K Week 7 Day 1 complete
Also hit my fastest speed this year on the bike last night:
43.7MPH!
Just don't tell my daughter, she has nightmares that I'm going to fall off at high speed. I keep telling her that I've got life assurance but she still worries . . .

I wore a fitted tee yesterday rather than a loose top like I've been sporting since my son was born, and this simplest thing felt amazing!
I also noticed a feeling of confidence in my food choices, with less anxiety about the amounts I have been eating.24 -
Today is my 500th day on MFP.55

Yay!
I bought a new bra last week that had only 3 hooks -- not 4, not 5. My sports bra still has 6, but it's an iron-clad, masterpiece of engineering. I'm now a 36DD, down from 44G.28 -
Ran my 4th 5K today, but this time my husband ran it with me! I'm glad I listened to other MFPers and just led by example. My husband decided on his own to start running since I was loving it so much. I never wanted to pressure him into anything, but he naturally ended up wanting to exercise and eat healthier with me. I feel so blessed to find so many new activities we can do together!
Btw I am 6'1" and 234 pounds, down from 319! Husband is 6'2" and 176.47 -
I finished my Duolingo in French today!19

I've had something of a mind shift lately. I've been so focused on what I have achieved, losing weight and getting fit. I'm always going to be proud of what I've achieved and I will willingly share my story with anyone I think I can help.
But I've had a realization of sorts. I'm no longer the former fat man turned slim. I've spent so long with that label in my head. This is my new reality. I'm going to make damn sure I'm never going to gain weight again. We moved to a new town several months ago. The people in this town don't know I used to be heavy. They just know me as they see me now. Unless I choose to tell them my story. They just see me as someone who is not overweight. So that's who I'm going to see myself as from now on. I'm always going to be proud of the way I've turned my health around but from this moment going forward I'm just going to enjoy who I am now. After all, I've worked hard for this. I have literally worked my *kitten* off!
I don't know if this makes sense. It's hard to put into words but this is how I'm feeling now. So this is my NSV. Changing the way I see myself.53 -
So my parents are in town. Mom likes exercise. Today rather then sit around I suggested we go to the waterfront boot camp cardio class. So I visited over boot camp cardio. Mom and I were both tired and sweaty after but such a great way to visit.27

I put my jeans in the dryer so that they can shrink and fit better.... Well that's different! I almost always hang to dry my clothes so they keep their shape and won't shrink.... now I NEED them to shrink!!
OMG I've been doing the same thing...I got 3 new pairs of jeans for Christmas and I've been trying to shrink them. It's so frustrating to have to get new clothes, but also so exciting!
