    Killer klowns from outer space

    (outer space themes I guess)

The Life of David Gale received shocking reviews! I watched it again yesterday and thought it was pretty good. Decent thriller/drama

My list of films that got good reviews that I thought were dreadful is much longer though!

    Cabin Boy.

AAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH! Cabin Boy! This was going to be my gold, but too late. I actually own this hideous piece of filth and will rarely admit that I like it.

In a train wreck sort of way.

Christopher Eliot is somewhere between Satan and Pee-Wee Herman, I swear.

I absolutely loved ghost rider.. I mean yes, Nicholas Cage has his issues, but who wouldn't want a flaming skull that does street justice on evil people riding a sick *kitten* bike!? SO COOL.

I found it entertaining, definitely not amazing, lol.

    Can't think of anything though!

    Police Academy
    The Warriors

You're so wrong gurgi! Police Academy received good reviews across the board

    http://www.empireonline.com/reviews/review.asp?DVDID=10061

Nothing wrong with that at all

It was the myriad of dire follow ups that were terrible!

And Warriors was another that didn't do too badly with the reviewers. Your taste is better than you thought! (Unless you meant 'Police Academy 5: Assignment Miami Beach', in which case, shame on you!)

    LOVE this movie!

But I think mine would have to be "Fight Club". It got a Turkey in the review book. WTF? I think it's amazing!

Hereafter is one of the best movies I've ever seen and I think it's like 35% on Rotten Tomatoes. But I read some of the reviews and I'm pretty sure they didn't watch the same movie I saw. (And everyone I know who's seen it loved it.)

That is one of only maybe two Julia Roberts movies I like. I bought it.
