Meaning the scale is a big fat liar liar pants on fire. I am so thankful I found MFP forums, I would have never been inspired to get into weight training.

Can I substitute walking for lifting and achieve the same awesome results?
Add in a mini trampoline and you're golden.0 -
Great job!!0

wow you look amazing! and really in your "before " pics i thought you looked nice as well. but i can tell you have worked alot! you look so toned, itshard to believe you weigh the same in the photos! guess this is why ppl say inches are more of an accurate way to rate success over the scale? either way, great job love, you look amazing!
The scale has occasionally been a...thing for me. I haven't budged a pound since February but I've gone from a comfy 6 to a comfy 0(or maybe it's a 4? or a 2?) (totally without noticing. People who know me will tell you I was having a whole...series of issues with the lack of scale movement. I may have lost my mind.) But here I am, no lighter but smaller. So. I don't always practice what I preach, but I really really should.0 -

Im so glad to see this cause just today im talking to my aunt who has gained 28 lbs since she got married and now weighs the same as me and were the same height. Except im wearing her 2-4s and shes wearing my 8-10s. Im mean she has gained in one year almost as much as ive lost. I was 150 when i was wearing the 8-10 cloths and now im 127. She was 100 wearing the 2-4 clothes im now wearing. It just blows my mind that i have that much more muscle.0

The same thing happened to me! One year ago, I weighed 113 pounds and wore a size 4-6. Now I am 113 pounds again but wear a size 0-2! It's amazing how our bodies work0
