Exploding Oatmeal?

    1.) do not buy or otherwise consume "instant" oatmeal....
    2.) cook oatmeal (preference to steel cut oats) on the stove in traditional method... in a large enough batch to last you the week.)
    3.) heat and serve at your convenience (using a microwave)... a bowl with a paper towel over it will stop "splatter"

    personally I like it cold with hot milk poured over it...or mixed with yogurt and berries... a scoop of protein...sometimes crushed walnuts and pecans...

    anyway... IF you brew up a batch once a week...you will find what you like... and you won't have to take time out of your day to clean your microwave

    Just eat it dry. Mix dry oats with peanut butter and the effort to eat it makes it a delicious, negative calorie food. Google some jaw stretches beforehand though...just ignore the context of the websites that come up...the stretches are what matters.

    Someone send me a line in about 3 hours. I have some research to do.
