Exploding Oatmeal?

1.) do not buy or otherwise consume "instant" oatmeal....
2.) cook oatmeal (preference to steel cut oats) on the stove in traditional method... in a large enough batch to last you the week.)
3.) heat and serve at your convenience (using a microwave)... a bowl with a paper towel over it will stop "splatter"
personally I like it cold with hot milk poured over it...or mixed with yogurt and berries... a scoop of protein...sometimes crushed walnuts and pecans...
anyway... IF you brew up a batch once a week...you will find what you like... and you won't have to take time out of your day to clean your microwave0 -

Just eat it dry. Mix dry oats with peanut butter and the effort to eat it makes it a delicious, negative calorie food. Google some jaw stretches beforehand though...just ignore the context of the websites that come up...the stretches are what matters.
Someone send me a line in about 3 hours. I have some research to do.0 -
