Without getting into 1200 calories argument, here's some snack ideas that I like

    Greek yogurt!! Love it!!!!(my favorite)

    Avocado

Carrot and celery sticks with peanut butter

    Protein bars

These are what help me make it threw my day without going way overboard.

    Good luck!!! :-)

Tasty lunch or dinner idea around 300cal:

200g skinless chicken breast, thinly sliced.
100g mixed vegetables (fresh or frozen),
    juice of 1 lemon,
    1tsp of minced garlic.
sprinkle of mixed herbs (I use a generic italian herb mix)
    olive oil cooking spray

I lightly spray a pan with olive oil spray, squeeze in lemon juice, add garlic and herbs and mix it around with a spatula. Turn on heat to high, add the chicken.
Meanwhile I microwave the veggies with a little bit of water for about 3-4 mins. And then when the chicken is browned up i put it on lower heat, add the veggies and toss in to combine the flavours. Sometimes I dollop some light cream cheese on top, or have just the beautifully flavoured cooked chicken in a wrap with grated carrot and lettuce etc. It's quick and simple, but I eat it all the time and love the flavours!

Dessert ideas that may help fill you up (about 250 cals)
Greek yogurt with berries and walnuts (I like flavoured greek yogurt with 20g blueberries, 40g raspberries, 70g rock melon & 15g walnuts.

    Snacks/other:

-Smoothies with chia seeds (can help you feel fuller for longer)
    -Eggs
-Wraps with salad and chicken/other meat.
    -Konjac pasta/slim pasta
    -Fresh fruit
    -Nuts
-treats (if you have calories left over to fill)
    -Greek yogurt
    -Sugar free jelly
-lunch sized crackers with low fat cream cheese or cream cheese and shaved turkey
