I'm 5'2" with a small frame, so even a few extra pounds seems like a lot on me! Starting at 132 with the goal of getting back to the 115 range-- depending on any potential muscle gain.0 -
I'm 5' tall and would love to have you as a friend. I weigh around 196-199 right now--it fluctuates--trying to get down to between 125ish-140ish.

I'm going to report my height as 5'1" because depending on the day I'm between 5'0" and 5'2". Like the above poster, a few pounds of weight feels/looks like a lot on me. I don't have a scale so I have no idea how much I weigh... The last time I weighed myself was 1.5 months ago, and I was 105 pounds. So I think I'm trying to maintain right now.0

I'm 5'1, I think. 154 cm! (Yay! Metric system!) I'm 57 kg, so I'm /technically/ at a healthy weight. I look pretty chubby though, so that's something I need to work on.

Why would I want to loss? you may wander. My body fat percentage is 26% and I've had excessive belly fat for as long as I could remember.

Hi, I'm short also. No place for extra pounds to hide. I'm 5 foot 2.5 inches tall, 185 lbs. Doctor says at my age (53), that I should weigh 135 lbs. Yikes, 50 lbs.

5ft 2 and I while I dont mind the height its the fact my body can't take my weight!!! I have lost 26 pounds and have another 30 to go!!0

Hi, I'm 5' 4" starting point was 295, cw 273, gw 140-150 ish.
Just curious...based on your starting vs your current...is that 22 lbs?

5' 2" height. In 2006, 138 lbs. with lots of body fat. Went down to 123 lbs. using lifting. In 2012, intensified fitness program. Now 114 lbs. I like how strong & powerful I feel, now. Can lift bags of dog food upstairs, no problem. Have recently adding in swimming. Once I get better at it, more exercise calories will be burned. I eat to fuel my workouts.
You can do it. Choose to make fitness with good food a way of life. Decide it's fun to challenge yourself and It will be.
As for height, shoulders back, head held high. Make like you can & will conquer the world.0 -

I'm 5'2" and currently 203lbs, at the moment I want to drop a couple of dress sizes so can't really say what my ideal weight is.
If I was taller, I wouldn't need to lose so much weight but unfortunately I'm squashed down!
:laugh: I couldn't help but giggle at your "squashed down" phrase!
I'm around 4-4'2 (my husband would say depending on the shoes Im wearing), when they ask how tall I am I tell them 4'2 ...makes me sound/look/feel taller.
We short people are already "fluffed" up, why cant we "fluff" up our heights too :bigsmile:0 -
