Look at the back of this bride's dress...what's that object near the floor?

If you said "that looks like a BABY?!?!" you would be right.

I read that on FB today.
I try not to judge people, but this seems ridiculous to me. If you wanted the baby to participate in the ceremony, then why not just carry her to the altar with you?
I think I would have had to walk out of this service. That poor child! I can't imagine what she will think when she grows up. Being dragged down the aisle seems kind of degrading to me.0 -

Just my opinion....
To value a life such as this precious baby and want to include the child in the ceremony is contradicted by placement.0 -

I could start something, but I think I'll kindly bow out of this thread.0

Funny.
MY first thought was "A white dress? really?"0 -

Why didn't she just carry her baby as she walked down the aisle?
Edit: I can't spell today.0 -

Because it's 2014? Get with the times. Carrying babies is so last century.0 -

My bad...0 -
I'm sorry. I seriously have a problem with this woman treating her child like a prop in her wedding.0
-
Yeah, that's bizarre and just wrong. It makes the child look like an afterthought. If they wanted the child included in the ceremony there are much better ways to do so.0
-
I believe it said in the article that she's wearing a Vera Wang dress - maybe it's part of the Wedding 2014 collection; dresses with hemline baby trim.0
-
WTF! that is all.0

The article I read was that she had the dress altered to secure the baby in it.0 -

Hmmmm...how to get everyone in the world talking about me all at once.....all of them saying OMG...did you see? That? WTF? I mean what the actual F?
She's a genius.
I am hiring her as my marketing director.0 -
Funny.

Hi Bill. How's the 19th century?? lol0 -
The drama could have been solved if she just had added one more feature to the dress0

A quote from the bride "As long as Jesus says it's cool", smh
I found her Facebook post on USA Today:
"People questioning what we do, commenting all negative, and just doing the most. We good though we covered by the Blood which never loose its power. So to the media, radio, news, and whomever else wanting to talk about what WE do here you go: Media Media I see how it works regardless the situation or purpose people gone have something negative to say! The answer is we do what we want when we want long as Jesus on our side everything worked out fine and gone continue to be fine. Our 1 month old was awake and well secured on my train. Most important while yall got ya feelings in us we had our hearts in Christ which covers all!! So keep ya mouths running for it was just that Exclusive and Epic enough we made top blog way from small town Ripley, TN and the social media doing what they do, TALK!!!!"
Pathetic.0 -
I wonder if this is a new level of stupid for the bride, or if she planned to reveal the depths of her insanity just as the groom would feel worst about leaving her dumb *kitten*.0
-
I don't get the point. If you're wanting your newborn to be in the wedding, being strapped to back of a dress dragging on the floor is probably not the way to do it. Carry the baby with you and then pass him/her onto family or a friend in the first row. I feel like they think so low of their child that they not only put that child behind the bride but drag that child on the floor. I'm curious why the church didn't say anything about it. Seems cruel to me.0
