    sigh. yes i am weighing everything correctly. i have lost 20 pounds since january. i am on slimming world, as i said. where you eat as much as you want until you are full.
    i didn't gain weight because i ate a lot of calories, i gained weight because i ate the wrong kinds of food.

    There is no wrong kind of food. I eat pizza and ice cream and still lose weight. There's a thing called moderation, and many people don't practice it. Also, you gained weight from too many calories. If you eat 3,000 calories of veggies, you will gain weight.

    Absolutely this! Annoys me so much when people say "you have to totally ban this, this and this from your diet if you want to lose weight" because I managed to lose almost 2 stone in the past and I didn't cut out any kind of food from my diet at all - I just limited them. There are people who eat 100% healthy and all the right things but are still very overweight and eat thousands more calories than they should.

    Eating an extremely low calorie amount will make you more prone to binging which is a definite no no. Eat sensibly if you want to lose weight and keep it off.
