Raspberry ketone!!

Options
I'm on week 2 of the raspberry ketone and xtreme cleanse tablet diet!!
I'm showing no sign of weight loss or inch loss!

I don't have much of an appetite anyway, so not eating less than usual...but I am drinking water/squash more. But not enough, I'm sure!

I just don't understand why I'm not losing weight, no matter what I do!!

I'm only 5ft (just) and being 11st 10 and a size 14-16 is NOT attractive!

youre not losing because you havent changed your diet. raspberry keytones dont do anything to begin with, but even the bottle says to use with proper diet and exercise

ETA; cleanses are bull too, your kidneys do that for you

You're not losing because there is no magic pills and you've been ripped off. The only thing those pills will help you lose is money. All you need is a sensible deficit, reasonable expectations and the knowledge that there is no quick fix and "diet pill" companies don't get rich by actually manufacturing things that work.

If you're not eating less you wont lose weight. All raspberry ketones will do is make your bank balance lighter. If there was a miracle way to lose weight Oprah Winfrey would be thin

Are you logging what you eat? are you weighing everything? Are you working to a weight-loss calorie goal set by MFP or one of the many TDEE calculators out there?

If the answer to any of the above is no, you won't see a weight loss regardless of (dubious) supplements.

ETA: 3 posts in a row from people with cat-profile pictures...! That made me smile!

i am taller than you but started off at around the same weight. I have lost my weight by eating slightly less than I used to and exercising 6 days a week. You need to log as accurately as you can and you will see changes. The raspberry ketones and cleansing tabs are not necessary. The only thing I do buy is protein powders to help with my protein intake, but then again lots of people dont do that either. Good luck you can do this.

question, how do you know when your body has been cleansed? I often wondered that with these detox and cleanser products.

Be miserable. Or motivate yourself. Whatever has to be done, it's always your choice.
    -Wayne Dyer

There are no magic pills. Only hard work and dedication.

It's about moderation not deprivation. There are no good/bad foods, only bad eating habits. Do or do not, there is no try. You have to want it, you have to work for it, you have to realize that only you can do it.

It's a shame you didn't spend your first two years here actually using the site as designed instead of looking for a quick fix.

Because you wasted your money on a stupid product. All you need is a calorie deficit and you'll lose weight.

are you eating at a deficit?

chocolate and "fizzy drink" are perfectly fine, only if they force you over your maintenance calorie level will they make you gain weight

Are you tracking everything you eat?

I eat chocolate. I drink soda. I eat lunch and a snack. I don't take Raspberry Ketones. I exercise daily. I track what I eat.

I find if I under-eat, I'll more than make up the deficit by binging. And if I don't track, I won't even realize that I binged - I don't do it with cake and cookies, it's the third serving at supper and all the kid's leftovers that will put me 1000 calories over for the day.

unfortunately on this site if you take any supplements outside of multivitamins and fish oil you are going to be insulted, certain people dont realize that not everyone has the knowledge of nutrition and weight loss that they do....

BUT just watching what you eat isnt enough, you need to be sure that you are eating enough not to cause damage, but little enough to lose weight. the only surefire way to do this is by counting calories

Are you tracking your calories? Are you eating in an appropriate calorie deficient?

How many meals a day, chocolate or not, sodas or not, don't matter. The ONLY way to lose weight is to eat less than you burn (but not too little) on a consistent basis. The links people have posted above have tons of great information that will help you on your journey.

No, it's the fact that you're not losing weight and spending money on raspberry ketones that is sending up red flags.

You've gotten a lot of good advice. Pick out some things to try and be consistent with them for three or four months. It's a learning process and an experiment.

OP please do a search on this. You will find all you need to know. Calorie deficit is the only way you are going to lose weight. No fad, pill, or machine is going to lose it for you.

Besides the unnecessary gif, this is all great info. You don't need pills, and they don't do anything except waste your money as you've seen. Read the above links; it's a great place to start.
