i havent played in awhile, but i always wash my balls.

thanks for that...most forum guys would say refurbs are garbage and you'd lose 10-20 yards (basically the yardage gained by buying a the current 2014 model driver vs. a late 2013 model, according to forums).
The only thing you're gaining in the last five years is forgiveness, assuming you've got a proper fit for loft and length. The distance battle is effectively over.
Balls wise, refurbs will cost you at max a few steps. Not 20.
that was a crack at forum guys and golf club adds. Yeah, since regulating size and COR on drivers, any quantum leaps in equipment has to come from the ball as clubs can't really add much more. Unless something awesome happens with shafts.
Adjustable drivers was cool though (even though I'm still using mine with a neutral face at 9* which is the standard setting on my driver).0 -
