Here's my analogy of these threads.

Your daily calorie allotment = a school bus

Proteins = small children Carbs = average children Fats = fat children

From there you can probably guess where I'm going. If you take a bunch of small children the bus can carry more kids. If you take heavier kids you can fit less of them.

But guess what, a bus is still a bus. It just depends on how you fill it.

This metaphor makes me extraordinarily uncomfortable.
and hungry for fat kids :-(

    Which witch

The one with the fake nose and hat; and they didn't dress her up, or did they? And to be clear, she was NOT part of a 30 day challenge related to food, ice cream, a rice diet, or PALEO lifestyle, and no animals were hurt during the filming of the scene except the duck. . . because it floats.

So yesterday and today I had the same number of calories for lunch (about 550-600). Yesterday I had a frozen lunch with lots of rice, very high in simple carbs, and a handful of grapes. Today I had a large chicken salad (with homemade sesame dressing, so good!) with lots of veggies and goat cheese and almonds...

The second meal looks like it had way more protein and fat which are very satiating. Sadly the calories are still equal...

Not all food is equal maybe. Calories are just calories. 300 calories of chicken and 300 calories of M&M's is still 300 calories. Nice try though.

Which weighs more? A ton of feathers or a ton of bricks?

Please don't start with that, obviously bricks weigh more than feathers!

You can't tell me a 5lb dumbbell weighs the same as a 5lb ream of paper.
