Both of my grandfathers served during WWII. I didn't know my dad's father very well (he died when I was very young), and my mom's father didn't talk about it often, but I know they sacrificed a lot.

My high school friend Ben served multiple tours in Iraq.

My husband's cousin is the mechanic for his wife's plane in the air force!

I appreciate everyone who has served, and those who continue to serve our country. Thanks to you all!

    Wow, already 6 pages.

My dad, Ernie Horton, was in the Army during WWII.
My older brother, Richard Clark, was in the Army during the Vietnam war.
My baby brother, Thomas (Harley) Horton (Tommy to me) served in the Army also.
My nephew Joshua Taylor is currently serving in the Navy.

Both my dad and my older brother died from cancer and my baby brother died in a motorcycle wreck.

Thank you and God bless you all who are serving and have served. I'm eternally grateful for your service. :flowerforyou: :flowerforyou: :flowerforyou: :flowerforyou: :flowerforyou:
