About the car wash...RAIN washes cars. I will not spend money to have a car washed!! Cars are to get you from here to there; doesn't matter a damn what they look like, clean or dirty. And in any event the state of the tool used to get you around has no bearing on your performance.

No need for the pessimistic talk. I'm saying that you feel better for the car being cleaned and vacuumed. I for one won't get into a friends car without knowing I can get in, out and move around without issue.

Wait, now we have to wash the outside AND the inside of our cars? That sounds like a lot of work.

And what if the vacuum is heavy?

I don't want to get bulky from vacuuming.

Hang on, healthy adults are paying somebody to wash their cars?!

Why not? There's a lot of young men round where I live that wash cars to earn a bit of extra cash. They're not wealthy (I live in a 3rd world country that's on the whole economically wealthy and highly developed but there are still some people who are poor) so why shouldn't I support them by paying them to wash my car?

Er, for the same reason you wouldn't pay somebody to brush your teeth for you?

I once had a friend who never washed her car because the one time she did it broke down. She motivated me to find friends with clean cars. :glasses:

I love this post .... and yes... I think for many people changing life style is essential to loosing weight.. and all those tips are about that.. about being more active.... .. and simply..... involved in daily routines on different levels and simply.. being happy...
It is very often not just about calculating calories intake and burn... it is about LIFE...
Keeping your life simpler and clean.. makes you less stressful... and many of us admit... that less stress = less eating...
