Bandeja paisa! It reminds me of home, and of lovely vacations visiting relatives in Colombia.
(If this seems like a lot of food, it's because it is. The platter they serve it on is gigantic.)
Skirt steak
Red beans cooked with pork
Chicharron (=fried pork belly)
Fried egg
Baked sweet plantains
Chorizo
Arepa (=maize flatbread)
Hogao sauce (=onion+tomato+spices)
Slice of salted avocado
Served with white rice, and cabbage salad on the side.
Followed by a food coma and possibly a heart attack. But as it's my last meal, I doubt preserving my figure would be my primary concern.0 -
No food, I'd be too nervous to enjoy it!
Just alcohol. Lots of alcohol.0 -

Damn. Beat me to it.0 -
In no particular order, chicken fried steak with sausage gravy from Main St. Cafe in Clearlake, biscuits and gravy with green tabasco from Dam Korner in Isabella, bacon from S.P.D. market meat dept., a chocolate chip twister from Foster's Freeze, and iced tea from the Monte Vista in Dutch Flat. All Cali.
If only you knew how much you make me laugh! You're awesome0 -
