I switched to Spaghetti squash for my pasta. Cook a half a squash in the micro and fork out the squash. Put veggies in a skillet with olive oil and then add them to Newman's Own sauce on top and you have a filling 260 calorie meal. I always lost weight the next morning.

Spaghetti squash, in my opinion, is so good prepared and served like spaghetti. Far less calories and so much better for you.0 -
and high in carbs.
pasta, rice and bananas are OUT! painful, yes... but i can see the benefits already.

How bad am I?:laugh: After reading this post, although I haven't had spaghetti since starting a vegan whole foods diet in may, I sure am enjoying a big bowl of spaghetti right now for dinner as I write this. And tomorrow morning is when I weigh in. :ohwell:
I saved up my calories for today to do this dinner. After reading this thread, I really wanted a big bowl of yummy spaghetti. Mmmm... So good...0
