Some things are just too good to be true.
  • I was going to buy it from model's, but when I asked the sales rep about all he could do was laugh... soooo I didnt get it lol.
  • I have a shake weight. And it works. After a week of using it with the dvd you can see a toning in the arms. The problem is, is that when you stop using it for a week or two, the toning disappears.
  • As a general rule anything fitness equipment that is sold on TV does not work. I laugh at the BowFlex commercial. Do you think those actors got their bodies from Bowflex? No they went to the gym and got those bodies. I had a BoxFlex though, my gf bought one for me. I ended up selling it to someone because it simply did not work. Sure you can workout and maybe burn some calories but I never got sore from using it. I could even bench 315 on the Bowflex 10 times and not get sore(I do not bench 315 on a regular weight bench, it's much less).

I bought this thinking that it was going to be great. I tired it for a day and hated it. I can get a much better workout with dumbells then I can with this. My opinion is don't buy it ask for something else.

Christmas is pretty far off. Shake weights look EXTREMELY boring anyways. Why not think about all this nice weather coming our way (aka spring and summer) and plan a kayaking or whitewater rafting trip.

There was somoene mocking the shake weight, it is funny to watch but I asked my friend who is a physical therapist and she said there is a moderate muscle benefit to the shake-weight. Olympic athletes even work out on a vibrating platform to get the greater muscle contraction and stabilizing muscle work.
whatever you want to do in the privacy of your own home;)
