for me it's all the catchy (and not so catchy) names of workouts and fitness gurus...I steer clear of any thread that mentions Insanity, P90X, Leslie Sansone, Jillian, Les Mills, whatever. It's a shame because some of them might have really good info and products I could benefit from but I just have kind of this automatic filter that causes me to RUN in the opposite direction.

Same thing with fitbit, Jawbone UP, whatever...MENTAL BLOCK on all of that jazz tbh

    Help.

When I see topics on ANY forum that consist of ONLY this word (and even moreso when the subtitle/description is also "Help")...

Why TDEE? That's your total daily energy expenditure, it's important!

because unless a person does roughly the same thing day in, day out, with exercise roughly the same, with around the same amount of calories being used daily, it is impossible to ever calculate accurately, therefore, it is oveerrated.

I think the only thing that is ever accurate where weight is concerned is your body fat percentage when you die. It's all an estimate, you just make the best guess you can, and make adjustments where needed. It's still a helpful tool.

I actually pretty much have the same workout schedule from week to week - until the minute I try TDEE and then the kids get sick or something and everything gets interrupted.
