    Think of how many famous entertainers and celebrities from the 1900s & 2000s are overweight men. Now think of how many are overweight women. Which are more positive and fun?

    The fact that less than half of the popular culture fat people are women shows our society's bias against big women.

    Right now, actor Melissa McCarthy and comedian Luenell are the only currently (within the last 5 years) widely known fat women I can quickly think of off the top of my head. But I can think of at least 10 men. Men dressed up as women have more visibility.

    I think big women put more effort into looking presentable but big men seem to be more socially acceptable. Go to any bar or social situation where groups of adults hang out and you'll definitely see more large men than large women.
