Merry Christmas. Here's a blast from the past. We've been enjoying old pictures this week at my house.
.................I've been trying for a half hour to get a picture here from Photo bucket. Will someone please give me the instructions again? Thanks.0 -
I hope this has been a great day for everyone.
I took the dogs to the dog park where they had the place to themselves for 50 minutes to run and play and chase birds......we had a great lunch of chicken and vegetables then went to the movies to see "Little Fockers".......we talked to several family members on the phone including our five year old granddaughter who was excited that she got a cap gun for Christmas (not from us )0 -
Gave photobucket one more shot....still didn't work for me.   :sad:0

photobucket has several codes for each picture......I think the one to use is the IMG code......copy the code onto your post then change the IMG to img change the upper case letters to lower case

To add to Barbies instructions be sure to change the bracket to lower case also.
EXAMPLE... IF CODE WERE
CHANGE TO lower case img code that was copied ending with lower case img don't forget the / using lower case brackets
do not change the code between the brackets just the brackets and img /img0 -

I am at a loss...I have posted pictures before. When I get it right I will save instructions in word so this doesn't happen again. I am challenged when it comes to "computer stuff."0 -
This is the way it came up from photobucket....what do I change and what do I change it to? This isn't all that important...but it just bugs me that I can't do it.0 -

I tried to change yours Irene but it isn't working for me either. Let's wait until later when people aren't posting so many pictures.
Mine aren't working either Irene.....could be the site is too busy0 -
Thanks Sandy. You are appreciated. I didn't think of that. Have a good day.0

Marie, the picture you want to put into email has a box above it that says share. It will ask you how and give you the instructions to email such photo. Understand?0 -
:flowerforyou: :flowerforyou: we've had pretty good weather today so I went for an hour walk on the Olympic Discovery Trail......Jake had a friend over for a visit and I wanted to give them some privacy and walking is always my first choice of things to do.

Good Morning,
Look like everyone is resting up this morning.
What a wonderfull christmas we had. of course I ate too much. But really hitting that water today. Trying to get my washing done. Not much news today. It is cold , we had frost on the roof top and on the grass
Hope you all had a jolly merry Christmas. Gigi should be back from her nice warm spot soon. I know they had a wonderful time, running around barefooted in the sand. I gthink I need to go and fine some new year eve greetings photo to post. See you guys later0 -
I posted this on another thread, but I wanted to share it here with you.
As a six month cancer survivor whose last tests came back clean...here are my ten goals.
1. Take every day as a gift and enjoy it fully. Even a day of drudgery is still a day of my life. I will find the best in it.
2. Sort all of my pictures into photo albums. Give pictures to those I know will enjoy them.
3. Make mermories for my grandchildren even if it means slaving over an Easy Bake Oven all day.
4. Finish an abreviated version of our family history to pass along to my children and grandchildren.
5. Spend lots of time with the sweet old guy I'm married (50 years) to. His job involves a lot of driving, and he likes to
have me along for company. I can do that!
6. Pursue peace in my life. There's nothing like a good peaceful day at home.
7. Get that stupid acquarium water balanced and filled with fish. Three neons are all the "fish guy" will let me have until
I get it right. LOL
8. Make changes in my house that will make things easier and faster so I can get on to other things.
9. Read ...read...read.. I love books.
10. HAVE FUN!!!!!!0 -

Looks like you took the photo down from Photobucket.
You have to change make the letters lower case.
MFP doesn't like the upper case letters in the code.0 -

Just tried out the Easy Bake Oven with Mariah. Our cake turned out more like a cookie. But she thinks it's great. You can't argue with satisfaction.
Have a great day. God Bless.0 -
I'm not giving up....I'll get this right yet.0 -
This is our son and our granddaughter on her 12th birthday (December 21). She baked and decorated her own cake. Dad took it out of the oven for her and helped clean up. Since her momma died, she's taken on the "baking" role in the family.

Hi everyone! We have been busy the last few days. I think tomorrow will be a day of relaxation and NO cooking! Neil's toe is looking infected again so we may need to make a quick trip in to the Dr. and lucky Neil gets a massage tomorrow. I am wondering why I didn't make an appointment for one for me as well. Def. not thinking!
Our temperatures have been moderate but the winds are so cold.
I just wanted to say Hi and will be back soon to do a longer post. Take care everyone and keep smiling. Gayla0 -
Irene, you did upload the pictures you want to post on photobucket didn't you?0

Hi All,
I have been looking for a site like this ever since
I joined. Would like to be part of the group.
I am 61 and live in Canada.
I have lost 18 lbs. so far but I am up 3 pounds
now because of the holidays.
How often do you meet?0 -
Happy Tuesday!! I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and/or any other holiday or just plain weekend.
My Christmas Eve was wonderful, probably one of the best we ever had since the other kids moved out of state. I tried to post pictures but photo bucket is giving me a hard time posting, I need another source of posting pictures. My Christmas Day was good also, just very informal and being with my step son always stresses me since I never know what he might say. My little granddaughter was in a really good mood and that made it nice.
I have been awful as far as diet and exercise, I should probably be kicked off of this site. :drinker: :drinker: :drinker: I gained a pound or two but I am really going to go back to reality after the New Year!! No sense in even fibbing to you that I haven't eaten cookies and other things that I shouldn't. :noway: I wish I had the discipline as most of you, but I am weak. :blushing: :blushing:
Welcome Shirley!!! You found a great thread with lots of good people. We support each other with diet, exercise, health problems, personal problems (if desired) or anything you want to talk about. Most of us try to post everyday but some just read and keep in touch when they can. A lot of us are animal lovers and talk about our precious pets or what ever we feel like talking about any such day. Stay with us, let us get to know you and before you know it, you will have reached your goal.
Today is the first day I can stay home and do nothing and that is exactly what I am going to do.
Have a great day!!0 -
:flowerforyou: Sandy, you are one of the most solid MFP members......as long as you keep trying you are a winner......so many people join and quit when the going gets tough......no one had an easy time over Christmas....even those of us who don't celebrate Christmas ate a few too many naughty things....you are part of the foundation of my life with MFP and I don't know what I'd do without you.......the problem with your step son is that he is always front and center......I have several family members who are erratic and irritating but they live two or more states away so I don't have to deal with them on a regular basis......keep on reaching for the detachment you need to get along with him.....and keep counting your blessings (like your little granddaughter  )
:flowerforyou: Shirley, this thread is one of four groups I connect to on MFP......I try to check in every day and post my food and exercise and read the threads.......most days I post a reply and usually try to reply individually to others......it takes time to get to know the others on the thread but it is worth the effort....one thing I really like is that if there is something on my mind, I can post it at any time....with friends and family you can't reach out to them in the middle of the night and say "aha, I just figured out that I can't keep peanut butter in the house because I want to eat it all the time" but my friends on MFP will read that and understand (and maybe laugh with me)
:flowerforyou: Connie, your son, daughter, and the cake all look fabulous.....good for her to use the sadness in her life as a springboard to learn new skills
:flowerforyou: yesterday after going to a financial appointment together, Jake said he wanted to go the new sporting goods store in town to see if they had one of those fake putting greens you can lay out in your living room to practice putting (he really misses playing golf in the winter).....i sort of rolled my eyes thinking of all the things I could be doing at home and why couldn't he do his errands by himself, etc, etc.............once again I was wrong   the store had a huge selection of the wool socks I've been wanting to buy for myself but didn't want to drive to the next town to shop for....the store also had the shoes Jake wanted and didn't want to drive to the next town on the chance that the store might have them...........so we both had great success finding something we really wanted......later we went to Big Five and found the putting green on sale......
:grumble: the temperature rose dramatically this morning so I think that means rain today so I'd better get the dogs to the dog park now while it's still dry.
