I thought I had made that up! NO ONE ELSE I have EVER talked to remembers it!!!

    I also forgot
    Flashpoint
    Army Wives- I hate cliffhangers
    House
    Moonlight
    Numbers
    Leverage
    Legend of the Seeker

I watch all my tv online so I didn't realize that House had ended.

Did anyone watch the show "Popular" when they were younger with Leslie Bibb? It ended with someone getting HIT BY A CAR. Talk about leaving us hanging.

That's how they ended Mercy (loved that show... and was sad they killed it too)..

If Heros were ever to come back I want it like it was in season 1 and the first half of 2... it really sucked after the writers strike.

Firefly died because Fox didn't show them in order nor did they stick to a permanent time slot. I remember this because I tried watching the show when it was on TV.

    V - cancelled after 2 seasons
666 Park Avenue - cancelled after 1 season
Breaking Bad - A friend of mine kept telling me it was so good, so I finally watched all 5 seasons on Netflix earier this year.

Also, Underdog to Wonderdog on the Animal Planet channel. I'm a sucker for happy ending dog stories.

Let's see, in no particular order:

    ...
Manimal (Yes, I DID say Manimal, and I will NOT watch what Will Ferrell will do to destroy it!)
    ...

I'm astonished that anyone else remembers Manimal. One of my all-time favorites. It never shows up on the rerun channels or the streaming services, not that I've seen. I guess the fact they only made 8 episodes may have something to do with that!

    Crush1.jpg
And to think...I was only 8 years old when Dr. Jonathan Chase became my first crush!

    keeping up appearance
    are you being served

don't think many will recognize these shows but then again you never know???

all these shows are on pbs.

and the middle ---- big bang theory

Call the Midwife hasn't ended, PBS might not have bought all the episodes but there is a 5th series coming out next year in the UK.

Breaking Bad was never meant, from the beginning, to last more than five seasons. The idea going in was "Can we go from Mr. Chips to Scarface in five years."

That makes sense then. I just watched them back to back on Netflix, and those 5 seasons just flew by too quickly! LOL I did the same thing with 24. Watched all 8 seasons (or was it 9) on Netflix in 2 months time.

I loved PUSHING DAISIES: the colors, the feel, the stories and deadpan wit. I also miss TWIN PEAKS although admit the second season became a bit dull once the murder was solved. I hear it is being brought back but I won't get my hopes up

YES to both of those, I agree - as well as Third Watch, and Better Off Ted. I also really liked "Rome" on HBO, and The Gates.

PBS has shown all four seasons aired so far and I believe that they plan to air the next one too.

A New York homicide detective is cursed with immortality.

Sounds like "Forever" - a show set to start on September 23rd (ABC network), although this time he's a medical examiner trying to solve how the person laying on the table before him died.
