haha If you guys could see my fingers... i have a size 10 ring finger (it's going down though)...my fiance keeps telling me i have pork sausages...so i have really short, fat fingers...does that mean i'm suppose to be a size 0? my BMI is 155lbs at the most...does that sound right? i had to buy a Man's HMR because I have thick wrists...oh now I've confused myself:ohwell:

I have "meat hooks" for hands and freakishly long fingers and arms for a woman. Shirts that are supposed to come to my wrist are always too short, and I buy all my coats from the men's section. I remember my grandpa being in complete disbelief over a coat my grandma bought me as it fit him - and he's 6'2"!

lol oh man...why can't people make clothes for real people? I'm truly fascinated by the Marilyn Monroe topic, how she'd be a size 6 today...and here my entire chubby life i was thinking i was almost the same size as her lol

I have really long, well, everything lol. I hate coat shopping. I am a huge fan of sweaters (cause they stretch  ) and 3/4 length shirts or tanktops. My grandparents sent me a coat last year that may as well have been 3/4 sleeves.. it was so pretty too :grumble: , I actually found one this year that fits, mostly  . I also tend to buy pants too long cause as a kid unless I got western pants non were made long enough in my size (00.. before my female figure developed :blushing: )

size 14 Long Jeans; 12-14 dress; Large shirts/sweaters (some XL)
    Female

I was in a size 14 jeans all thru college and only weighed in the 160s - last time I was at this weight I was still in a size 16 jeans. I think its all about the toning/working out etc that I'm a smaller size, but still weigh more. Here's hoping I get to maybe fit into a size 10 or 12 jeans when I hit my goal weight in the 150s!

Girl you just made my day! What I loved about this post the most was first how willing everyone was to post their "numbers" and second how a lot of us are in and around the same. Makes me questions what size I really should be. Maybe my idea of what I
think I should be is not a realistic idea at all. I mean genetically I have a big legs and bum maybe that's what I will always have.
    Size what a crazy notion.
OH yeah, here's my numbers too:

    159 pounds
    Size 10-12 Canadian

BUTTTTTTT... I think its better if you share measurements... :-)

    Bust: 35 in
    waist: 26 in
    hips: 35 inches

Now to only trim down that waist!!!!!!

That would be good... I am not sure how many people track their measurements, but I will add mine on here too..

    My original post:
    5'6 1/2"
    178.1 lbs
    size 14 (US)
    Female
    Waist: 33.5"
    Hips: 41.5"

I have lost 6.9 lbs (starting weight 185) in the last month. My waist has gone down 2 1/2" from 36" to 33.5" and my hips have gone down 2" from 43.5" to 41.5"

Personally, i don't think this is "productive" or "healthy" in the least! We are ALL so much more than a collection of numbers!!
My feelings are similar ... I'm not quite sure what the point of this is?

Did you bother to read on? Many people took the time to explain WHY we're doing this. The point is to realize that women (and men) come in all shapes and sizes. I, for one, found a person exactly the same size, goals, etc as I am. We are now MFP buddies and can support each other if needed. I also found someone that was the same height, weight but was 3 sizes SMALLER! It's just an interesting thread. They've said it before and I'll say it again...if you're not interested or can't say anything to contribute to the thread...don't respond...move on...

Why would you diminish what is apparently important to this person rather than just not participate if you don't care for it?
