Why "Weight"? 100 Day Challenge

Day One. Will quote this post later to post along w/ my end day results.
I'm going to consider Wednesday the official "start" of the week for me for this challenge. So one week does not officially pass until it hits Wednesday again.
Uhmm let's see. Three new things.
o1. Cut out the greasy, yummy pizza. My favorite food is my downfall. I've tried healthier, but it just doesn't taste right to me. So...I'm going to cut out the delivery, & try to find some kind of recipe that will satisfy my pizza craving while tasting like the real thing.
o2. Less sodium. Staying at MFP's limit. I've been going over everyday by about 2oo-5oomg. I need to do better than that.
o3. Fitting in exercise 5x a week like I used to. Somehow I dwindled down to 3x a week, but only if I feel like it.
Time for a change. 8]0 -

01) to exercise and do my sit-ups, push-ups, squats and lunges
02) to drink NO Coke today
03) to try my best to get my 8 hours of sleep tonight0 -
My 3 Goals for Today:
(This list is a little modified since I'm currently sick. :P)
1. Complete my usual workout, or just go for a walk if I don't feel well enough to do my usual routine.
2. Get at least 4-5 servings of vegetables/fruits today.

Your motivation - My bday is in April and I would like to take some sexy photos ... I'm also turning 30 and I don't want to feel old!
My 3 goals for today - Stay within my calorie range and lower my carb intake.
Exercise for an hour today after work (its cold but I still need to do it)
Have an productive work day.

2. Get on top of the housework (dusting, vacuuming, etc.) so that the hubby and I can put up our Christmas tree tonight.

Unweight related goal: To work on a budget for myself. Get a good size saving going.
My Motivation: my health, getting of most of my meds, Valentine dance on Feb 12th where I am the Valentine Queen of my sorority chapter.....I would love to look awesome for this event. There will be lots of pics to remind me of the day and I want to look my best!
My day 1 goals are:
1. To work out after work tonight. I am the same, that I talk a good talk but once I get home I get lazy.
2. Drink water
3. Keep track of everything that goes into my mouth.0 -
Good posts so far and I'm loving the motivation I'm seeing in everyone, for the duration of the challenge I'll try to post at least one thing a day to motivate or one healthy change we can make. A lot more people joined than I thought would so I'm thinking about breaking everyone into teams to make it easier to manage. Anyone interested in being a team captain inbox me. Day 2:
Hope everyone did well with adding three healthy things to their day. I missed my goals a little due to my sister going into labor, I wonder does delivery room coaching count as exercise lol. She had a healthy baby girl, 5lbs. 4 oz, and she is so beautiful. Another reminder of why I want to get to a healthy weight, getting that baby fever and I want to start a family soon after I get married next year and being healthy will be best for me, my baby, and my husband. Besides I don't want prepregnancy weight to be the same after.
Ended up way under cals for the day, which normally I wouldn't mind but I don't want my body to think I'm starving it on only 700 cals, not good.
Anyways new day, new chances.

Water is one of my biggest issues, and a lot of being don't realize simple dehydration can keep the scale from moving in the right direction, todays challenge try to get in at least the recommended 64 oz. Of water today, if you can do more great, but try to get in at least the minimum.
*Ways to Make Water Better*
Add:
Lemon, lime, or orange slices.
Mint leaves or cucumber slices.
Natural fruit juice added to water.
Sugarfree Packets
Raspberries or sliced strawberries.
Have a great day ladies and don't forget to post for the day!
*change to challenge, so that it goes in cycles of 7 weigh ins will be on Wednesdays*0 -

Congrats on being a new aunt!! That is SO exciting ) I can't wait to be an aunt and have kids of my own some day as well- a bit further in my future though, but I want to be healthy now so that when the time comes I'm ready!
How's everyone doing with their goals? Sorry I didn't post for Day 1.. wasn't able to get on here until late, I've been busy with finals/projects for school. that's the main reason why my goal is to manage stress better! I know I need to make time for my health. =]
So my goals for today--
10-12 glasses of water
Zumba DVD
Stay under calories!

Day Two.
New starting weight for myself--256lbs. I should have weighed myself before I started the challenge. I was thinking I was still the same weight. A pleasant surprise indeed.
Day One ended with no exercise, since I spent the most of my night cramming for two finals today. :0 Exercise will definitely be fit in this evening.
Water challenge accepted ! I need to start recorded the amount of water I drink as well...so I can keep up with it. It's amazing that since drinking water I don't really miss soda or juice that much (good for my diabetes, by the way--less sugar).
Today, my personal challenge will be to conquer this algebra final this afternoon. My weight-related challenge will be to put that exercise in today, no matter what happens.

Congrats on the new baby in the family. That is always exciting!
Day 2 finds me down a pound, which is lovely and very unexpected. (TOM--probably no need to say more as all of us women probably have the mad cravings and water weight-gain every freakin' month!)

I accomplished all my goals yesterday. Very excited I actually did my exercising. I'm going to try and exercise after work today (I won't get home until 7:15pm).
A water challenge sounds great! I have a hard time drinking all my water while I'm at work. This will push me to keep drinking throughout the day.

I haven't been following with this, ugh! My days are so crazy hectic with school, and I know that shouldn't be an excuse, but I'm finding now I need every minute I can spare to dedicate to it.
Monday things will lighten up, I'm planning on going full force then. In the meantime, I will continue to watch what I eat and drink lots of water!
