Why "Weight"? 100 Day Challenge

Wow this thread has grown!!
I probably wont be checking in daily, since this is a 100day challenge, lol
Plus I mostly do the same thing daily anyway.
My goal for the next 2 weeks is to drink one liter more water and just
keep going with what i've been doing.
I'm also down 3.4lbs since this challenge started so
95days and 31.6lbs to go!!0 -
Well this weekend wasn't my best. We spent all day Saturday at my mother-in-laws house and then went to get our Christmas Tree.I guess that was a little bit of exercise because I walked all over the tree farm trying to find the perfect tree. :happy:
I'm going to get some exercise in tonight though and start recording all my food again tomorrow.

Good evening Ladies
This weekend has been "ok". I ate alright yesterday and today I kind of went over completely. (went out with a friend for lunch)
I have worked out both days though so thats a positive.
Goals - More patient with my son especially.
Eat less carbs and try to workout at least 5x this week.
This week is the last week of bootcamp and I want to have a great weigh in and measurements for Saturday so I'm really pushing myself to the limits this week.

Day Six !
I didn't have a decent meal yesterday, only snacked throughout the day. I don't get paid 'til Friday, so for the next four days...I'll be eating the bare minimum.
This economy sucks.
In any case...
My goal for this week is to lose 1 pound of fat...buring 35oo calories in total.
Will update this post tonight.

It has been a few days since I've checked in--due to my utter shame of pigging out on Christmas cookies! But, alas, I need to get back on track before I gain back every pound I've lost. On a positive note, I did really notice that I felt physically ill most of the three days I blew it & ate whatever I wanted. Who really wants to feel like that? And, why on earth can't that just be the end of my cravings then???

Day 6:
Busy working all weekend so I didn't get to check in.
Went to the doctor on Friday for my A1c check up. The office called me this morning with the not so good news. My A1c was the highest it has ever been......8.2. Last time, 3 months ago, it was 7.2.....so I really need to work on this and hopefully following these 100 days I will have it back around 7. I weighed in on Saturday and did lose 3.2 lbs since this 100 day challenge started.....so I am happy about that. Now to keep it going in that direction!
Goal for today is to drink lots of water!!!

I've been doing pretty good about my food since the weekend but I still look down at myself and feel fat when I see my stomach ...shrugs
My goal for today is to drink 2L of water ... I've been slipping the past few days and only having 6 maybe 7 glasses.
Other goal - stop cursing so much ... ugh and gain a little more patience.
The weigh in is every week? On Wednesday? I'm a scale addict and I need to know.

Day Seven.
No exercise for a few more days. :[ The monthly-itis...if you know what I mean. I feel so uncomfortable. But at least I'm not sick-sick !
Weigh-in is tomorrow. I'm hoping for the best. Don't think I did too bad this week, though I really wish I could have worked out. I haven't exercised now in two weeks, & I'm feeling restless.
So this week's goal isn't going to be met...it'll have to wait until the next week. I don't have much of a goal today except to take it easy, & game on mah 360. Is anyone else here a gamer?

Eeek. I think I need to adopt your cursing goal. I've been surprising myself with my language sometimes, lol.
Yep! Weigh-ins are on Wednesdays. Or whichever day you started the challenge, I don't think there's a strict limit. :}0 -
I weighed in this morning & I'm down 6lbs. from last Wednesday. Yay!
My goal this week is to focus on exercising on a regular basis. It's so hard to wake up early to do, but I have no energy left at the end of the day.

Day Eight. Yay, weigh-in day! Cheering because I lost 4 pounds, bringing my weight to 251 (fasting). I'm so excited, after having that little hump, I'm finally losing some good weight.
I'm going to start back on my exercising around Thursday or Friday.
I won't start my own mini-challenge of burning 1 pound of fat (35oo calories for the week) until next Wednesday.
Today's personal goal...taking it easy. I feel lost having absolutely nothing to do, but I have to take this as a moment to recharge. I don't have to have something to do -every- single day. I just like feeling busy, is all. :P

Congrats to you all who lost so much weight this week!! ... OMG ... I need to look at your food journels or something. According to the freaking scale I gained 1.5 pounds. I'm trying to figure it out. I exercised as normal and ate pretty good ( I believe) ... I have added more protein but thats it..... sigh
Anyway, today challenge is ....... don't really have one other than my usuals .... watch my mouth and more patience.
I also need to do some abs during my workout tonight.

@msamcoates-- :} No worries, that one pound'll be dropped. My food intake didn't change too much, but I was at a standstill for awhile without losing a thing. I did eat more fish & chicken instead of beef--maybe that had a better impact on me? I did drink A LOT of water, too. At least you're doing great & sticking with the challenge !
Today's goals:
-try to get some extra moneys for the holidays. I have presents to get !
-fit in at least 3o+ minutes of exercise & weight training. I'm ready to jump around like a sweaty animal again ! Haha.

Ladies ... Hello!
Today I've been doing pretty good on food and I noticed that I consume too much sugar (mainly from fruit) ...so today's goal was to stay under my MFP required amount of sugar and see how it goes.
Tomorrow is the last day of bootcamp ....sigh .... so we will be weighing in and taking measurements .... I'm nervous and excited!
Tomorrow is also going to be my cheat day, after the workout in the morning ..... I need will power to not overdo it.

I am soo late with posting this.
But today was kind of an iffy day. I ate the right caloric amount, I'm just not eating full, balanced meals. I need to change that. Thank goodness for grocery shopping tomorrow morning. Until then...

Since the day's pretty much over, I don't have too much of a goal except to fit in some kind of exercise. I feel myself being lazier by the day ! Gotta shift it. But I am still taking the stairs instead of the elevator, parking further away to walk, & taking the long way on purpose...hope that counts as something. xD

Hi everybody! I see you all are doing just fine! It's Day 11, and I thought I'd check in you every ten days from now on. My weigh-in days are on Saturdays, and I joined on a Tuesday. So, I swear I didn't lose all this weight in just ten days.

Lazy day. It's raining & I want to do nothing but sleep.

Days 6- 11
Hello everyone, sorry I'm a little behind in posting this but here's my summary:
Lost 2 lbs since starting the challenge, would have been more but my exercise as slacking due to holiday shopping and parties, oh well I'm back on track and ready to be excellent the rest of the challenge.
Personal Goals:
Unweight Related:
1.To work on my spending habits and work habits.
2. Working on slowing down and to stop worrying so much.
3. Do some winter house cleaning.
I got some fitness goodies for Christmas, a Wii type workout game and I ordered Zumba and it should be here in the next week or so.
So Zumba will be my cardio 3x a week and rounded off with my Kettlebell routine 3x a week.
I'm at 40 lbs lost overall and I'm 60 from my 100 goal and I'll reevaluate from there.

Hello all,
I think I'm going to weigh in on Sunday's because I lost weight today .... Yaaah!! I am 148lbs after my morning walk/jog. So I'm down 3lbs. I cheated so much yesterday it wasn't funny. Mostly alcohol, I went out last night and lets just say I was tipsy still this morning. Today is a new day and I'm back on track.
Unweight goals - my mouth, patience, give God the Glory!
Weight goals - continue doing what I've been doing and drop more weight and tone .... I thought the bootcamp was coming to an end but the trainer extended her services and offered a great deal for 6 months so I'm going to continue to do that and cardio.

Morning All,
Yesterday was not a good day .... I overate and did very min exercising. Today is better ..... I had boot camp this morning so that was a boost. I'm also doing cardio later.
Goal - Eat healthier and stay under calories.
See if I can actually prepare myself for a 18 hour fast .... yikes .... I know drastic measures but this weeked is going to be hell on the eating, drinking, and no exercise.0 -
Hey all!!!
I know weigh in isn't until tomorrow but I had to post some good news!!! I went to the doctor today for a checkup and when they weighed me I was 235!!! That means I lost 3lbs! Also my blood pressure was 102 over 70 and the nurse said I have a "teenager's" blood pressure! All this working out is finally doing something!!! Yay!!!

Today's weigh-in dayyyy.
& I simply maintained (thankfully !) so no gain, I'm happy. I would have loved to post "I'm outta the 250's!" this week, but that may have to wait a good while. Especially after Christmas. :P

HerBravado - No weight lost is better than weight gain ..... and I feel you on the maintaining until after Christmas .... my job is having the Christmas party tomorrow, hence the reason I wanted to fast until the party .... but I'm not even gonna take those drastic measures .... I thought about the hunger headaches and ummm I rather try and fit in some exercise then starve, I mean fast ... so yea thats out. O I added you as well for some encouragement .... we can do it.
